Another shitty love story Chapter 7

After a while at the diner Emily got tired and so Justin and her went back to the car to sleep, Emily told him she was too lazy to walk so he carried her on his back to the car. he wanted her to be comfortable so he laid her down on the 3 seats in the back and he covered her up with blankets and he slept in the drivers seat. He slid open the panel on the roof of the car so he could see the stars and the skies, he was having trouble sleeping and the stars usually helped him calm down.

"It's beautiful." Emily said from the back in a whisper,

"I thought you were asleep?" Justin told her in a whisper turning around to look at her,

"Nah but I am pretty tired, what's up with you?" she asked.

"I can't sleep." he told her looking back at the sky now,

"Oh, well I can stay awake with you if you want?"

"No it's fine get some rest we got a big day tomorrow." he told her and she yawned and went to sleep, it took Justin almost another 1/2 an hour before he actually went to sleep.

When he woke up, Emily was gone.

He sat right up and got out of the car, he went looking for her no where was she in the streets or the shops.

He ended up finding her at the diner getting him some orange juice and some breakfast.

"Up so early?" she asked him when he walked in, he calmed down at the sight of her.

"Well you don't know how fast a man in love can wake up when he realizes the girl he loves is missing." he said with his small smile returning to his face.

"Oh I'm sorry did I scare you?" she said feeling a bit guilty.

"Yeah but it's fine now, I'm better now that I'm with you."

"I just came to get us some breakfast before we hit the road," she said and she put her hand on his cheek " I didn't mean to scare you?..."

He put his hand over hers and then kissed her forehead.

"You realize I love you right?" he asked

"Yes, and you realize I love you" Emily said.

"Yes but with me I can't stand to see you angry or upset, seeing you happy is the best thing on earth, in the universe even. I wouldn't want to live without you and I wouldn't want to lose you ever.." Justin told her hugging her now

"Justin... your heart is beating crazy fast?.." Emily said with her ear to his chest as she hugged him.

"That's what happens when I fear I'm going to loose you."

"I'm sorry." Emily said,

"We should get going, how did they even serve you breakfast it's 2:00pm?"

"They made an acceptation when I said we were on a road trip chasing our dreams" Emily said with a smile.

the lady behind the counter rang a bell signaling her order was ready. Emily picked up the bag and they walked to the car she handed Justin his breakfast and she took out hers and they began to eat. when they finished Justin started up the car and began driving.

"Where are we going?" Emily asked

"I wanna check out a city" Justin answered.

"Which one?" Emily asked

"Potter." he told her.

"Oh my god you're kidding right. There isn't a city called potter..right?"

"Take a look", he handed her the map and she looked at it, SURE ENOUGH THERE IS A CITY CALLED POTTER!"

"You gotta be shitting me!!" Emily said so surprised and she looked at Justin then back at the map,

"Okay if I don't see a store all about Harry potter I'm going to be pissed." she said then laughed.

Justin loved when she laughed and he couldn't help but laugh too, he loved almost everything about her,

Scratch that.

Justin DID love everything about her.

"It's gonna be almost a seven hour drive or so, looks like were gonna be driving at night too."

"No Justin that's too dangerous." Emily told him with her hand squeezing his arm, she couldn't picture a life without him. She didn't want to..

"Emily it'll be alright well just drive a while longer till we find a small town close to potter and well sleep there."

Justin assured her. Emily took a deep breath, "okay,..fine. We can switch seats I can drive at night maybe?" She asked

"No, I don't wanna keep you up and it'll be my surprise to you when you wake up." he told her as he took her hand and kissed it then just held it there, he would squeeze her hand and she would squeeze his back. They did it almost every time they held hands, by now it was kinda like saying ' I love you' through a squeeze.

Emily began playing a game with Justin he had to guess what animal she was thinking of and it became pretty obvious once he realized she had been thinking of every animal they passed. if they passed some Cows he would say cows and sure enough he was right.

"Okay what animal now." Emily said

"Could it possibly be a...deer?" Justin asked smiling.

"God dangit how the heck do you do it?!" She asked amazed.

"Emily," he said

"What" she asked

"You've been naming every animal we pass, it's not that hard" he finally told her.

"I didn't think you'd figure it out, plus I think of the first thing that pops into my head and after passing deer's try telling me that won't be the first thing you think of." she said

"Fair enough" Justin told her flicking his eyebrows at the realization and tilting his head to the side for a quick moment.

"Okay let's play another game. We ask each other a number of questions and answer them." Emily told him.

"You mean 21 questions?" he asked smiling.

"okay whatever but let's make the number of questions smaller." she said.

"Okay how about 12-15?"

"Okay. First question, favorite

childhood memory?" Justin asked.

"Um..oh when me and Jenna were at lunch and some kid made fun of my used to be short hair and Jenna beat the crap out of him for it."

"She did that?" Justin asked surprised

"Yup" Emily said.

"Just to let you know I would've beat the crap out of anyone who insults my girlfriend."

"Oh my god Justin,"

"What?"

"You just called me...your girlfriend."

"Cause you are, why?"

"Nothing...i just.. I like it" she said blushing.

"I do too." he said.

Technically they were and weren't going out.

1. he never really asked her 2. But he did kiss her and take her to a dance 3. And he did just call her his girlfriend.

Twenty nine questions and twenty nine answers later and they realized it was getting really dark.

"Justin?" Emily called,

"What?" he asked.

"It's getting really dark, don't you think we should pull over?"

"Don't worry we're almost to the next little town."

"How do you know that? you don't even know the little towns around here." Emily told him sounding really worried.

"I just feel it in my gut, kinda like when I felt I should sit with you on the bus that day." he said taking his eyes off the road and turning to smile at Emily.

"LOOK OUT!!!" Emily shouted.
