Eleni and I lock hands as we waited for the elves to come. Thor put his arm around Skye. Where was Megan and Captain America, I don't know. As soon as the elves step up to the plate. They lunge. The lunge right at everyone. Our whole town stabbed and shot. I saw a glimpse of Eleni stabbing an elf in the heart. He stumbled and fell. Thor took out about thirty in the first two minutes if the fight with his hammer. Skye was circling her elf, knife ready, talking to him. I am guessing she was giving him a good hearty chat before he died. Above are helicopters picking up hurt humans and bringing them to the hospital. As I looked at one an elf jumped at me, trying to land a spear in my head. I turn my body left as I see the elf fall to the ground. He missed me, sinking the spear into his own foot. He let out a yelp as I finished him off by stabbing his spine. He went down instantly, I knew he was done. I turned to see another elf and I shoved my knife into his stomach. As I pull out the knife I notice a green sticky liquid. Yuck, elf blood. I cut off another ear from a different elf and shoved it in my backpack because the green blood looked cool. Skye seems to be doing good. She is punching and kicking the day-lights out of elves. Eleni is doing go- wait. Eleni seems to be bending over something. I see a helicopter over head of her and I get worried. The helicopters claw drops down and picks up a red white and blue figure. I instantly know who it is. Its Captain America. How is Eleni supposed to fight when her 'boy toy' just got carried off to the hospital because dark elves tried to murder him? I start to run at her when I see two elves try to jump on her back when she is turned the other way. I am about halfway there when she takes them down instantly. She takes down seven elves before I get there. Wait, did I mention this warrior is de-heading each elf with her Captain America shield? Every time she turns she de-heads an elf with one swift motion. I stand in awe, until I hear my name.
"ALLIE!" Skye yells behind me. I turn to look and she is on the ground and her arm is sprinkled with blood.
"I hate you," I mutter, "but I am going to save you." I sprint over to her and we lock hands. I hoist her up and she turns my arm so her arm is around my neck, and she is standing behind me.
"Huh?" I ask.
"Give me the emerald," Skye said through clenched teeth.
"The only way your going to get it, is if I am dead," I started backwards kicking but she threatened me even more. She held her knife up to my throat.
"Is it still the same answer honey?" She said in an overly nice and sweet voice.
"Sure is," I bit her knife with my teeth and pried it from her hand. I elbowed her in the stomach and kicked her in the shins. She yelped in pain. I kicked her down and held both knives over my head.
"I hope you weren't planning on marrying Thor," I said. She started to whimper. I looked to my right, and to my left, and I planted my foot on her chest.
"See you, Skye," when I said that I saw Thor running towards us. I hurried so he couldn't stop me. I brought both knives down into her rotten flesh until I knew she was dead. Skye lay there, breathless, with a bloody chest. I instantly started to shake. I didn't know why, I saved Thor from marrying a dark elf and Eleni from possibly getting hurt by her idol. Thor got there fast and grabbed both of my wrists and pulled me down onto the cold hard dirt where Skye lay dead.
"That was a bad choice, Allie. And your life is going to have to pay," tears streamed down his face. He got on his knees, held me down with one hand, and raised his hammer. He was bringing it down when Megan moved his hand and jumped in between us.
"Thor please, you don't understand, Skye was a-" Megan started.
"Megan get out of the way," Thor said firmly, but calm. ABOUT US
"Thor, please listen, you have to understand," Megan could barely talk she was so upset.
"MOVE OUT OF THE WAY," Thor screamed at her. Her eyes grew big. She gathered her hands at her chest and set them in a praying motion.
"You don't know what your doing your misunderstanding this situation," Megan pleaded. "Please." Thor threw Megan aside, her hitting the ground hard. I couldn't say a word. My cold, dry lips couldn't .move. Once again, Thor raised the hammer above his head.
"NOOO THOR DONT YOU DONT-" Megan screamed at the top of her lungs. Everyone stopped, to look. The elves and all the people looked at her. Even Thor. Megan was never ever loud, nor did she ever say her opinion.
Thor blinked. "Did you just yell at me when I am trying to kill the girl that just murdered my girlfriend for no apparent reason?" Thor raised his eyebrows and while staring at Megan. Just then he threw his hammer at Megan's head full speed. I cant even get a scream out of my mouth it happens so quick. All I see is a red white and blue blur and see it hit the hammer making it fall to the ground. The blue went straight back to Eleni and she caught it.
"Skye, was a dark elf," Eleni explained. She walked over to Skye's cold dead body and pulled back her hair. There sat two, pointy ears. Thor hung his head in shame. He picked up his hammer, and made it go one round around town, killing all of the elves in its path on its way back to him. He hung his head and slowly walked to the castle. Eleni came over to me and helped me up. I walked over to Megan and helped her up. Then we just let it all out. All of the tears, all of the "omg's" and all of the heartbreaks. We hugged for about ten minutes.
"Ok, well lets go to the hospital, I need to give this back to Captain, and make sure he is okay," Eleni said. So we all walked in silence to the hospital, stepping over the deceased the whole way there. We entered the hospital through two glass doors and stepped up to the reception desk in unison.
"Captain..America, please," Eleni said.
"Room 516," the receptionist replied. We went up stairs and elevators and walked through hallways. 513, 514, 515, 1516. Eleni stopped in front of the door and took a deep breath. We didn't know how torn up he was going to be. She swung the door open and stepped in. Megan and I followed. Captain immediately sat up in his bed.
"You guys are okay," he said. We all nodded. "Eleni, you okay? How was it using my shield?" He winked.
"Totally fine, it was kinda fun," Eleni chuckled. She walked over to him and held the shield out. But instead of grabbing the shield he grabbed her right wrist and held her close he took the shield from her and dropped it on the floor. He brushed her face with his left and leaned in. What happened next surprised us all, even him. He touched his lips to hers. Eleni grabbed his hand and held it tight. She was going with the flow. I grabbed Megan's hand and we smiled, still standing at the door. Eleni and Captain America pulled away and they hugged.
"Glad your safe safe," Eleni whispered.
"Right back at you," Captain whispered back. This makes me want to go and explain everything to Thor, I want to tell him I love him. I want to run to castle, full speed, and make him soup and watch movies and cover him in a blanket, to make him feel better. I need to be there for him, so he realizes what I have already, that we are in love.
"Go," Megan whispers.
"What?"
"Go to the castle. Wrap Thor in a blanket, feed him soup, and watch movies." Okay, this crept me out.
"How did you know...." I asked cautiously.
"You whispered everything you just thought about to me," Megan winked. I face palmed.
"Its okay. I understand. Go warrior, go," Megan opened up the door for me. I smiled and walked out while Captain and Eleni were still talking. Lovebirds.
Right when I hit the pavement outside the hospital, I ran. I ran faster than I ever had before, and I wasn't going to stop until I got to the castle.
I need to explain everything.
I need to tell Thor I love him.
