As I close the basement door, I hear our front door come crashing down. That makes us all jump.

"Stay calm!" Eleni yells.

"Shhh..." I warn, "we will be fine if they don't know we are here." We sit shaking, silently for a few minutes.

"Do you smell that?" Megan asks.

"Nope" Eleni and I answer in unison.

"It almost smells like something is-" Megan was not able to finish. Tall monstrous flames started to flood the basement. It takes us all about two seconds to realize we are probably not going to make it. I quickly scan the room to see if a surprise door shows up. There is a window, but that unfortunately is where the flames are the highest. We all back into the corner of the basement and all sit down. We lock hands as the flames come towards us.

"We are together," Eleni stated, "and I am so happy about that."

"Me too. I think it's going to be okay. We will be fine," Megan tries to convince us.

"We've got this," it hurts to say it feels like my lungs are burning.

Eleni holds her chest as she becomes unconscious. Megan does the same thing. I slowly close my eyes, knowing it's the end. As I close my eyes, I hear glass break.

"Are you okay?" I hear a British accent as I start to become conscious. I look down to see our city at least a mile down. I see fires everywhere. I start to scream at the top of my lungs. Who ever was carrying me was...FLYING...

"ELENI!" I scream, "MEGAN!"

"Your okay, I've got you," I look up to see a rather cute guy staring down at me with long blonde hair.

"Where are my friends?!"

"Ehhhh...captains got one of them, I don't know about the other one. But they are both going to be fine," the guy answers calmly. He drops me of at a hospital a few towns down. "Will see you later," he winks.

What the heck just happened.
