Chapter 3

Chapter 3:

Liam’ s POV

“I was sitting next to the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen and didn’t know it?” I questioned shocked. Wait, did those words just come out of my mouth? Oh gosh. Kaitlyn began to blush a flush red in her cheeks. She too, became shocked. Was that a good thing?

‘Baby you light up my world like nobody else…’ starting to play as Kaitlyn’s phone went off. I smiled and watched her read the caller ID, it was her father. She noticed the time and how late it was. The time was 11:30 PM.

She quickly answered the phone, “Hello?” I stood in silence and heard her clear her throat.

 Her dad spoke, “I thought you were supposed to call me once you got out of the movie?” He only had slight anger in his voice from what I had heard.

She took a deep breath. “I’m sorry I―” she started when I interrupted her with a whisper. “I can give you a ride home, it’ll give your father a chance to stay home and relax.” I suggested. Kaitlyn spoke back into the phone. “Hey dad, I actually can get a ride home from some friends. It turns out they were here anyways and are about to leave. Is that fine if they take me home?” Kaitlyn asked her father through the static. I crossed my fingers hoping for the best answer, yes.

“Fine, see you when you get home. Love you.” Her father said with a slight sigh. I almost screamed with excitement, but I kept my mouth shut. I was so happy I could just pick Kaitlyn up and run around with her in my arms. I stood still, staying quiet as she was still on the phone.

“Love you too.” she said in a beautiful voice. I wish she could say that to me some day. Bee-dooop went her phone as the call ended.

“You are really going to take me home?” Kaitlyn asked me in surprise. I nodded foolishly. She smiled and then quickly shivered, rubbing her arms for warmth. I handed her my sweater. “Are you sure?” she asked. In my eyes she’s even cute when she acts serious. I can’t get over her.

“Of course I’ll take you home! Anything for you, Kaitlyn.” I assured, smiling. Kaitlyn walked by my side to my car. I held her hand, keeping her hand warm. Like the gentleman I am, I opened the passenger car door for Kaitlyn to find a security guard jump out. “Don’t touch her! She’s with me! She’s fine. I’m bringing her home.” I exclaimed saving Kaitlyn from being dragged away by the vicious security guards. “Are you sure you want to do this?” asked the concerned security guard.

“Yes.” I replied. He won’t lay a hand on this precious girl.

Kaitlyn gave me her house address and I put it into my car’s GPS. The whole way to Kaitlyn’s house I couldn’t keep my eyes off of her. We made each other laugh and I was flirting hard with her the whole time, yet she didn’t fully know it. I pulled into her driveway and parked the car. I didn’t want her to leave already. She’s made me feel ecstatic. She needs to be mine.

“I had a great time tonight. I am so happy I finally had the guts to talk to you.” I blurted out, breaking the awkward silence that arose. Kaitlyn’s cheeks became a flush red again.

Kaitlyn began to pull off Liam’s sweater when he stopped her. “Keep it,” I suggested, “I want you to have it, to remember me from this night.” She smiled and shut the car door. She waved to me while walking, almost running into a light post. I smiled and left as she walked into her house.

Kaitlyn’s POV

Most of the lights were off so I tip-toed quietly up the stairs. “How was the movie?” Kaitlyn’s father asked, stopping her halfway up the staircase.

“It was great! Thanks for letting me go!” I responded quickly, “I’m really tired I’ll talk to you in the morning. Love you, goodnight.” I really wasn’t tired, but I just wanted to lie down and think about what had just happened. Did I really just meet Liam Payne? Did I just stare into his beautiful brown eyes?

My father said “Love you too. Goodnight.” I ran up my stairs and quietly shut my door. I changed into my favorite purple pajamas, threw my hair up into a messy bun, and crawled into bed. I dimmed the lights in my room and stared at the ceiling. After yawning a few times, I shut the light off and drifted away to sleep.
