Chapter 26

Harry's POV

A short amount of time had gone by, and Alyssa eventually fell asleep in my arms. Her tears stained my shirt, but I didn't mind it. Her tears looked like beads rolling down her face. I couldn't get that image out of my head. I still didn't fully understand. But I'd rather not ask anymore. She cradled her head into my neck. I rubbed her back softly. I cradled her in my arms, carrying her bridal style up to her bedroom. I laid her down and fixed the duvet, tucking her into her bed. Walking to the other side of the bed, I climbed in, and laid next to her, pulling her in close to me. Laying there in the silence felt so peaceful, enjoyable. All I could think about was Alyssa. After about a half an hour of listening to the light breaths coming from Alyssa, I sat up and looked around her room. She had little notes she had written to herself pinned on her desk's cork board. I slipped out from underneath the blankets and walked over to her desk, sitting in the chair. They were numbered. Some of them had been highlighted, some not. I read through some of them.

"1. Meet justin Bieber. 2. Meet One Direction. 3. Earn my confidence back. 4. Be the OLLG. 5. Date Harry from One Direction. (Crazy, I know.)......"

I figured that the highlighted ones were things that had happened. Since, she is dating me. It made me smile. But the smile seemed to have faced once I looked over the third one again. She's so beautiful, she just refuses to realize it. I grabbed a pen out of her desk drawer cautiously and wrote 'You are beautiful babe, I love you. -Harry .xx' underneath her number three sticky note. I got back up out of the chair and laid back in the bed next to her. As soon as I settled into the mattress, she awoke. She looked at me and smiled, mouthing the words "I love you."

"You ready for the beach?" I asked her, smiling. I kissed her forehead.

"Yeah, let me just get my stuff together!" She smiled back. She got up and walked over to her armoire, rummaging through it until she finally pulled out a swimsuit. It was a bright pink bikini with little black polka dots. She held it in her hand and then spoke.

"I need to shower." She started, "could I quickly take one?"

"Sure! Could I come with you?" I said, winking. Her eyes widened.

"Harry, you stay here and clean my room while I go shower." She said, winking a bit.

"Fine." I huffed, eventually smiling.

"I was joking!" Alyssa exclaimed.

"I'll still tidy it up, there's not much to do anyways!" I replied, with a big cheeky smile on my face. She smiled back and walked out of the room and into the bathroom. I heard the shower water start, and began cleaning. I straighted the blankets and duvet on her bed, followed by pillows along the top by the headboard. After I finished with the bed, I picked a few articles of clothing off of her floor and placed them in her laundry basket. I finished in about ten minutes and had maybe ten minutes to spare. I looked around her room, looking to see if she had any magazines of me and the boys. They were in a bin under her bed. I pulled them out and looked through them. She had all of the quizzes filled out and posters were taken out. On some pages, she'd comment on outfits or the models. Next to a few of them she said she wanted to look like them. I personally thought she was even more beautiful than them. I ran over to her desk, grabbed a blank sheet of paper out of her drawer, and wrote on it. I sat on her bed, waiting for her to come out of the bathroom.

Alyssa's POV

I walked out of the bathroom after getting into my swimwear and washing up, walking to my room. As I opened the door, I walked in to find Harry sitting on my bed, holding up a sign. The sign said "You're PERFECT to me." I couldn't help but blush. I ran over to him and jumped into his arms, hugging him tightly.

"Thank you, Harry." I whispered into his ear, giving him slight chills.

"Anytime, love." He replied, pulling my body closer to his. "Now let's get ready to leave!" He added.

"Aren't you forgetting your swim trunks?" I asked

"I'll just go commando." He said, winking. My eyes narrowed.

"Harry." I trailed off.

"I'm just kidding! I have everything we need all packed and ready for us to leave." He smiled, his dimples killing me.

He grabbed my hand and we left for the beach. As we arrived, we pulled up next to Lou and El, Zayn and Perrie, Liam and Kait., and Niall and his close friend. They've been best friends since they were about two years old. Harry and I walked over to everyone. They were all unloading beach items out of their cars.

"It's Harry and Alyssa, guys!" Louis shouted, running towards us. He gave us both massive hugs. I looked over to everyone else to see them all looking at us smiling. Harry and I gave every hugs and hellos, also introducing ourselves to Niall's friend.

"Hello! I'm Alyssa! It's so nice to meet you! What's your name?" I smiled, holding out my hand. She shook my hand and smiled back.

"My name's Shaylin. It's so nice to meet you too! Niall's told me a lot about you! You two are Belieber buddies!" She smiled. Everyone laughed as Niall and I blushed.

"Hey! There's nothing wrong with being friends with someone who has the same interests!" Niall shrugged.

"I know, I know." Shaylin laughed.

Kait's POV

We had arrived at the beach at around 10 o'clock. Louis and Eleanor were already there. Zayn and Perrie, and Niall and a friend pulled up as Liam and I stepped out of the car. Niall introduced his best friend, Shaylin, to us. She was visiting for a few days, and leaving the same day the boys and I were leaving. Hopefully Alyssa, too. After about ten minutes of laughing and talking, Louis yelled.

"It's Harry and Alyssa, guys!" He screamed, running towards them. We all smiled and giggled. I felt Liam grab my hand, intertwining our fingers. I looked up at him to see him smiling. He kissed my forehead, causing my smile to become even bigger and for me to blush. Alyssa introduced herself to Shaylin, along with Harry.

"My name's Shaylin. It's so nice to meet you too! Niall's told me a lot about you! You two are Belieber buddies!" She said happily. We all laughed, causing Niall and Alyssa to get a slightly defensive.

"Hey! There's nothing wrong with being friends with someone who has the same interests!" Niall pouted, crossing his arms. Alyssa nodded her head in agreement with Niall.

"I know, I know!" Shaylin said, playfully hitting Niall's shoulder. I felt like they acted as more than just best friends. I personally think they would be perfect together. I've known her less than a day, and she has already made me laugh, smile, and more social than ever. I'm sure Alyssa is thinking the same thing. We all ended up chatting for another half and hour before Harry decided to speak up.

"How about we all hit the beach now? It's going to be crowded!" Harry said, pointing in the wrong direction of the beach. Alyssa maneuvered his arm, facing him the right way.

"To the beach!" We all exclaimed, running with our things onto the boardwalk and sand. The warmth of the sand felt amazing on my toes. I love beaches. We set up blankets, chairs, our bags, and beach umbrellas. Once everything was in it's place, we all got ready to go into the water. We lathered on our suntan lotion and set off for the water.
