Chapter 14

Liam's POV

"I've got everything planned out for today." I said, Kaitlyn smiled. I hope this is perfect. "First, the beach." I said, smiling.

"But I don't have anything for the beach!" She said.

"Did you even take a look in your bag?" I said, laughing. She shook her head and opened up the bag. There, she saw everything she needed for the beach.

"Wow, you guys really did plan this out." She said, blushing.

"For you, love." I told her, pulling her closer to me. I wrapped my arm around and we walked towards the boardwalk. As we got up on the pier we both stopped at the bathrooms, changing into our swimwear. After I was all changed, I waited for Kaitlyn to come out. After a few minutes, she walked out with her sundress over her bikini. I smiled and we both walked onto the sand, which was warm and soothing to the touch.

“How about we set up here?” She suggested. I smiled and nodded.

“This is a great spot.” I said. We set up a few beach blankets and she set down her bag, as I did the same. “How about we hit the water!” I suggested. She gave me a frightened look.

“Sure!” She said, hesitantly. She slowly took her sundress off, and stood there in her purple swim suit. “Sorry you had to see me like this.” She also said, putting herself down.

“Like what? Looking perfect?” I blurted. She blushed a light scarlet and smiled.

“Thank you. But I’m not perfect.” She said, still blushing. To me, she was perfect. I hope this plan works today.

“Sunscreen, that’s what we need before we head to the water.” I said, searching my bag for it. I couldn’t find it. Dammit, I forgot it. “Do you have sunscreen with you?” I quickly asked her.

“Actually, I don’t know.” she started, laughing. “Let me check to see if Alyssa packed it for me.” She knelt on the blanket next to her bag and began rummaging through it. After pulling a few things out she finally grabbed a bottle of sunscreen and tossed it to me.

“Thanks.” I said, as I began applying it.

“No problem.” She said, smiling.

“Could you help me with my back?” I asked her. She nodded and stood up. I crouched down slightly, making it easier for her to get my whole back. She gently rubbed the lotion on my back with her soft hands.

“There you go! All done! Now let me just put the lotion on me and we can head to the water!” She said. As she applied the lotion, I decided to help her out. Her skin was soft. She looked at me with those bright hazel eyes, and smiled. "Thanks." she whispered in my ear. Her cool breath sent amazing chills throughout my body.

I grabbed her hand and we both ran towards the water. As our feet touched the frigid water, she stopped.

"What? Too cold for you?" I teased, winking.

"Not really. But is it too cold for you?" She asked me. Suddenly, a giant splash of the freezing cold water hit my body. She began laughing.

"You shouldn't have done that." I told her as she began looking frightened. She turned around and tried to run but I wrapped my arms around her, picking her up off of the wet sand. "HERE WE GO!" I screamed as I ran with her into the water. As I took a few more steps, the sand level was lower than before, causing us to fall. Our bodies fully hit the frigid water as a wave crashed over us. As we resurfaced, she gave me a death stare.

"Never do that again." She spoke between shivers. I pulled her into a hug, rubbing her arms that were filled with goosebumps.

"I'm sorry, love." I said, still rubbing her arms. I kissed her forehead, causing her to blush again. Some time went by and we both had finally gotten used to the temperature of the water. We were fooling around, diving through the waves, jumping over them, splashing each other, and so much more. At around 2PM we got out of the water and walked back to our beach blanket. I got a few stares from the people around me. Could they have noticed I'm Liam Payne?
