Zane's POV-
The small group of droids and I were huddled around a table, talking.
The conversation was spoken in only low voices, for if the officers heard what we were saying, certainly all of us would be subject to torture. The same torture I had gone through. I let my gaze travel across my comrades. No. I couldn't let that happen to them.
"I think we should stage the attack when they're transferring us from our cells to the main room." Kirv said. "What do you think, Zane?"
The mention of my name jerked me out of my silent thoughts. "Yes, that is the most logical time. The hallway is small, so there is less room to run, but there will be less guards, as they would expect a revolt to take place in here." I gestured to the room around me.
Axi nodded. "But we'd be split up, and there's an insane amount of guards on duty then."
Cyte nodded. "We could stage many." He suggested. "Cole with Axi, Zane with me. Kirv would be by himself but I'm sure you're enough by yourself, Kirv."
Cole then spoke up. "Remember, our main objective is to break ourselves out. Then we can come back and free the rest."
Axi nodded. "Sounds like a plan."
I nodded. If we succeeded, we would be free. But if we failed, we would most likely all be killed.

Pixal's POV-
I felt another wave of exhaustion come over me. As much as I wanted to sleep, to rest, to go and hide in a dark place, I had to keep moving. Zane needed me.
A few weeks ago, I had discovered a record of two officers speaking of their plan to run experiments on a unique droid. The droid, from their description, reminded me of Zane. It wasn't much to go on, but it was something.
I was scouring the fields of security camera footage, searching and searching for Zane.
