Zane's POV-
I woke up strapped to the same table I had been the first time. This time, it was standing straight up. Cyte.. where was Cyte.... I soon found him, strapped to a similar table.
Cyte's head hung low, his jet black hair matted down, hanging in his eyes. I couldn't bare to see him like this.
The officer responsible for all my pain soon came into my field of vision. "I've tortured your mind and body. Now, I'll see how you feel when I hurt someone you love."
The officer moved to Cyte, then tore at him the same way he did me. I noticed that Cyte had a unique power source, the same as I did, but his was emitting a blood red light.
I stared at the two of them, my enemy and the only friend I have, one tearing at the other. I couldn't look away. Cyte, in all his pain, managed to turn to me. All I saw was the hatred in his eyes. I couldn't escape it. I couldn't.
Nya's POV-
I made my way to the center of the stage, where a podium had been setup.
I looked out onto the audience. "I'm sure most of you know who I am."
I was met with silence. "If you don't, my name is Nya. I'm a ninja. I protect Ninjago from evil. But I'm not the only one. I fight alongside my team. But my team was recently destroyed. By you. Yes, you Ninjago. You, by passing the Droid Protection Act, have destroyed Ninjago's protection force. Because you took away Zane."
I paused again. "Zane is the most heroic, selfless person you could ever meet. He's the entire reason the world hasn't been destroyed. So why is he locked up? I ask you, Ninjago, to free my brother. Because even if we're not related, we are family."
Cole's POV- I raced through the halls of the Facility, Kai, Jay, and Lloyd close on my tail. It had been a drag, trying to get through security, but we did it. We had one objective: find Zane.
Zane's POV-
The torture continued, for me and for Cyte. I couldn't believe someone could be so heartless.
Then my brothers ran in.
"ZAAAAAANNNNNNEEEEE!!!!" Jay yelled when he saw me. "You're alive!"
Jay then got me down from the table while Kai confronted the officer. Kai and Cole released Cyte.
I was greeted by hugs and smiles. My family had come for me.
