dear michael,
im sorry
sincerely,
sophie
sophie was doing just fine. well, maybe. michael was bothering her, a lot. she had completely severed all ties with michael, he just didn't understand. he called her everyday, say how sorry he was, how he didn't mean it and that he wished, just once, she would answer. and sophie always listened to every single one of his damn sob stories.
after michael said he loved her, sophie panicked. the feelings for her were building up as well, but not as fast. sophie realized her feelings, but she didn't acknowledge them. sophie felt bad, she really did, but she couldn't deal with it. so, she deleted michael from her life. for a while it worked, until the feelings came back and she couldn't push them away, because they were too big.
sophie's mom always asked how michael was, considering she got a new letter every day from the broken hearted boy. she always said he was fine, even though it wasn't true and she knew it. sophie always read the letters, and they made her sad, but she wrote back but never sent them. sophie was sad because she had spent her whole life with michael - happy michael, and now she had no michael - especially sad michael, and living without him was tough even though she led everyone to believe it wasn't.
michael was on sophie's mind a lot, like she was on his. she wondered if he was doing well like she was, but she doubted it. although sophie didn't talk to michael anymore, she still cared about him. a lot. sophie wanted to talk to him so, so, so much but sophie knew she couldn't.
