Dee looked around at everyone doing their own thing and then to Raina waiting for someone to play Air Hockey with. This, Dee was certain, she hadn't played before. But she did know that Hockey involved ice and that ice was cool...so it must be a cool game!
      "I can play!"
She volunteered after being encouraged by her herd but then rethought her hasty decision. What if it was dangerous?
Well, her herd would look out for her of course! But what if westlyn didn't talk to her?
Dee glanced over at him and pushed her hair behind her ears, her fingers briefly getting tangled. Was he going to play a different game...without her? Or would he think she didn't want to talk to him?
The voices in her head were mixed and scrambled. They all talked at one time and got louder.
     "...Stop."
She whispered to herself, quieting the voices to a low hum.
She looked over to raina, still waiting, then over to westlyn, trying to avoid collecting the dust swirling through the air. It wasn't like she could just ignore Raina. The herd told her that it would be rude! Plus, she wanted to learn to play.
Dee skipped over like a five year old and gave a bright smile, leaning against the table. She looked at the pieces and examined the table.
      "How do you...play?"
She asked excitedly, clapping her hands together. This looked like the best game ever....but didn't look like ice. Hockey was on ice, wasn't it? Maybe she had been wrong. Hockey was on plastic?! How could she have gotten that wrong?!
Setting the puck down, Raina smacked the edge of it forcefully which sent it flying towards the score socket. The scoreboard above them flicked to one on rainas side.
      "That's how."
Raina cracked her knuckles and even went so far as to crack her neck before resuming her position. Westlyn went off to Lillian, grabbing a tissues and gently brushing the dust into it as he went around the room. The other patients all watched the group, the one chewing on the puzzle piece even deciding that the slobbery piece cardboard wasn't as interesting as he originally thought. Before he could set the germ infested chew back on the table however, Lillian swiped it and wiped it off with small baby wipes she kept handy in her bag. Westlyn sneezed, accidentally using the tissue he had used to scoop up the dust as a snot rag, causing him to sneeze more.
"*snort* some-someone- *snort* help- *snort* p-please!! *snort* dang it!- *snort*"
"Woah, you're on your own bud, I'm in the Zone..."
Raina furrowed her perfectly trimmed eyebrows together in concentration as she waited for Dee to pick the pick back up and start another round.
Dee watched westlyn with concern. Wasn't anyone going to help? Her voices picked again at the thought of him and forced her to focus back on the game. They reminded her that nothing was more important to her than what was in front of her. Dee hasn't thought they had told her that before, but she was probably wrong.
What had Raina done again? She had thrown the puck! No no... that probably wasn't it...
Gently, dee gripped the piece in her hand and looked at it for a moment before lightly hitting the small disk. It traveled a small ways before slowing and drifting away. Dee watched it before her eyes lit up. She looked to raina in awe.
"Did I win? Did I win the game?"
She asked, excitedly beginning to hop from foot to foot.
She glanced around to see if anyone else had seen her incredible defeat. Her herd had! This game was fun  and she couldn't think to focus on anything else! Dee smiled at Raina widely and gave herself a hug.
Surly she could remember how to play this, it was simple.
"I can't believe I won the game!"
She squealed, letting her joy travel to her heart.
Raina reached fire ward to knock the puck back towards Dee.
"You didn't win. The game is just starting, and I'm winning, obviously."
There was and need for the last remake, but Raina was known for being overly extra so it was common within the group to hear her boast about her luck. Blowing a strand of colors out from her face, she leaned foreword and rested her elbows on the edge of the rink.
The patient that was using the puzzle as a snack's mouth dropped open due to rainas body.
Tight skinny jeans to match her perfectly curved hips, long legs, and a rounded tush.

"Close your mouth you're gonna catch flies."
Lillian went poker faced as she crossed her arms over her chest and narrowed her eyes down to the patient.
Clapping his mouth closed, he turned around and began looking for something else to chew on.
Westlyn lunched himself in the chest a couple times and finally maintained a calm state.
"Phew..."
He chuckled, wiping his tears that had slipped out during his sneeze fest.
"That was a lot of dust.."

"Dusty dusty dusty dusty."
Two patients that were building on the train set said in unison.
"Dusty dusty dusty..."
Lillian giggled to herself.
"How cute! They're talking at the same time!"
"Dusty dusty dusty dusty..."
"Ok...now it's just getting a little annoying..."
she frowned.
"Dusty dusty dusty.."
"Alright guys keep it down please..."
"Dusty dusty dusty-"
"SHUT UP."
Lillian stomped her foot and both of their heads snapped to attention. Wide eyed, their bodies went stiff as they observed her.
"Thank you..."
Lillian breathed, turning on her heel to walk over and watch the air hockey game. Glancing back to each other, the patients shrugged their shoulders and went back to shoving the mismatched train set pieces together.
Dee tried to hide her giggles at Lillian's scolding as she shuffled the puck around on the table absently. She looked back at the other patients still having no luck jamming the pieces together, and to the boy with the pieces. She was certain that she saw him sneaking glances, but she didn't say anything. Raina was pretty after all! Her hazel eyes then looked to Lillian who had approached.
"Have you ever played this? It's great!"
Dee asked excitedly.
     "I'm losing!"
She only smiled and looked back at the game, undaunted by Raina's boasting. It seemed to be a simple game and it was still fun! That's all she wanted, a little fun every now and then.
Another shudder ran down her spine and she felt cold for a split second before the sensation left her. Dee shook her head and straightened herself. The feeling wasn't new but she didn't like it....and she didn't know what triggered it this time.
Dee ignored the feeling and hit the puck, a little harder this time, so that it actually slid over to Raina's side.
She looked over to Lillian's don laughed.
"I think I'm still losing."
She said brightly with a shrug. The herd didn't approve of her losing at things, but they didn't protest like thy normally did so it was ok. She could, however, feel them watching her closely. Were they interested in the game or...was she in trouble of some sort.
