The wedding was absolutely amazing and I'm so proud to call Chase my husband now. To think we've been together for more than a little over a year and he asked me to marry him. I feel like the luckiest girl ever. The receptionist was beautiful and the venue was to die for. It was at a country club where we had the whole place to ourselves for our special day. We decided to get married on the first during the summer where it warm and sunny and most likely was going to be a beautiful day for this beautiful celebration. At night, the water fountain changed colors, the dessert was served outside and the tables were set up so nicely. And the DJ rocked the playlist of music. Even my mother and father in law got it down on the dance floor. The whole crowd was laughing even when my sister in law felt really embarrassed by them because of how they were dancing. Everyone had an amazing day.

We came back home a few weeks ago from our honeymoon. Puerto Rico was so much fun. I got to enjoy the beach, the massages, the fun activities they had on board. Oh, and the shopping was really fun, too. I enjoyed that part. Chase and I had our romantic moments as newly weds in our room. W even have a bottle of champagne from the captain and his crew on our special anniversary.

Chase knew I felt sick since we came back home but I never felt any real symptoms until I started to have the morning sickness. Chase doesn't like the whole idea of being sick so I had to handle it on my own. He's more better at taking care of me afterwords than being involved in something he thinks he is going to catch. Boys, am I right? I finished whatever morning sickness was torturing my body and I laid back down in bed.

"Maybe you should go see a doctor?" Chase suggests ideas so he doesn't have to be involved in this sick process.

"How about I go get a pregnancy test? After all, I am late on my period."

"Alright, come on. I'll drive you to the drug store."

He took me to the drug store and I picked up to boxes just in case the test was wrong the first time. I doubt it since these tests are almost a hundred percent correct. We came back to our condo and I immediately went to the kitchen to grab some water and headed for the bathroom. Chase stands outside of the bathroom door, checking up on me if I needed anything.

I took a swig of my water and took the first test out. I took another swig of water and took the second test. I closed both of them with the cap it came with and left it on the sink. I finished cleaning up after myself and opened the bathroom door, turning off the light and exiting out of the room.

"So?" he inquires me.

"I don't know the results, babe. You have to wait a few minutes for it to pick up a signal. At least that's what the instructions says on the package."

"Why don't I make us some grilled cheese sandwiches and by then, the results should come in."

"Grilled cheese. Yum! I'm starving." I protested.

He made the sandwiches and ate our lunch. Chase helped clean up his and my mess and suggested we should look at the test. I should say I went to take the first peek since Chase is nervous just as much as I am. I turned the bathroom light on and the results were showing on the stick. "Oh my gosh." I shouted. "Babe, look." I held the two tests in the air and showed him that both stated it was positive.

"Babe! We're going to be parents!" He's excited than I thought he would be. He lifted me up for a hug and spun me around in circles. We claimed the news with a sealed kiss and now it was time to tell our family the big news. "They're going to be so happy, honey. They're going to have another grandchild in the family." I excitedly tell him.

2 weeks later, we were able to get a doctor's appointment to check out the little baby growing in my tummy. Chase held my hand during the wait in the waiting room as my other hand rubs my tummy because I've been feeling pain a little.

"You okay?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. I don't have any more broken ribs, my ankle is healed, no more crutches. My life is great and I think this bundle of joy is excited for us, too." He smiles at me words before the front lady called our names to go into the back room. I would say I'm a few weeks pregnant now based on when I last took the tests but I could be wrong. Our honeymoon was like almost 3 months ago but I'll just let the doctor talk.

The female doctor walks in the room. Chase has googling eyes on her and I smacked his arm as he winced in the pain, zinging on his arm.

"Hi. I'm Doctor Lee. I'll be taking care of you throughout your pregnancy." She looks at my file and says, "How are you today, Ashley?"

"I'm doing really well. I'm happy."

She smiles at me. "That's good. Let's go ahead and check up on the baby."

"Okay."

"This might be a little cold." I reached my hand out for Chase to hold as I whimper how cold that gel really was. She rubs it all over my stomach, washed her hands, turned off the light and grabs this tool that moves in all directions of my stomach. She looks for the baby through the monitor and I'm watching everything through that screen. "Hm," she starts . "You look roughly 17 weeks pregnant now. I can even tell you the gender if you want. First child, right?"

"Yeah. First one." I giggled with fear. "Chase, honey, do you want to know the gender of the baby?"

"Only if you want to know."

I looked over at the doctor as she's waiting for an answer. "I think we want to know."

"Okay, great! From what I'm seeing here, you're having a girl! Congratulations!"

"Hun, it's a girl. Yay! Aren't you happy?" I asked him.

His perfect smile tells me he's happy for us. "I am happy." He kisses my hand and helps me get ready so we can leave and go back home.
