Kiss it better

Dinner date.

After getting home from her lunch date with Stefan, it was time for Jade to get ready for her dinner date with Spencer. She had a light blue skater dress in her closet that she kept for special occasions. Just add some black high heels and the look was done she thought to herself. While walking to the bathroom to fix her makeup she got a text from Stefan "Have fun tonight miss disco, and i hope you and Spencer will be really happy together." Jade smiled and send him a quick reply and then continued with her hair and makeup. While humming a song that has been stuck in her head for a few days she walked to the living room just to pass the time that was still left before Spencer would come and pick her up. Jade had a whole wall in her living room covered in pictures of herself, family and friends and of course most of them were pictures of her and Stefan. Nobody (apart from her mom) knew this but when they were both 16, Jade had a big crush on Stefan, things weren't going so good at school and everyday Stefan would come over to help her and just be there for her which caused her to look at him with different eyes. She figuered that the crush she had would go away and that it was just puberty that caused it. A year later she stopped thinking about him in that way because she didn't want to risk losing the friendship they had and so from than all they were were best friend, and to this day on there hasn't been a day that she didn't talk or text Stefan. And she didn't want it any other way because she really needed him in her life, she just hoped that Spencer wouldn't have a problem with that. Jade never really had a boyfriend so she never had to think about that issue but Stefan had and most of the girls he dated didn't really like her so she hoped that it would be different for her relationships.

"You really didn't have to bring me to this fancy place Spencer" Jade smiled while looking at the menu seeing all kinds of names that she wasn't used to. "yes i had to, a special girl like you needs to be treated to the best things money can buy." Spencer said while smiling at her. Jade smiled softly and then ordered some kind of thing with a weird name which she hoped was something with fish.                                                                                                                                                             After finishing their meal Jade wanted to split the bill but Spencer wouldn't have it, which made Jade feel a bit uncomfortable but after a while she didn't pay any more attention to it and they left the restaurant. While driving down the road Jade smiled at Spencer "Thank you so much for that wonderful dinner, so what are the plans for the rest of the night?" "Actually i have to drop you off at home, i have an early shift tomorrow morning and i don't want to let my boss down. I hope you don't mind that... I promise that we'll have a much better date next time." Spencer gave Jade a soft smile and Jade smiled back "That's okay Spence. Work's important so just drop me off at home and we'll talk later." The rest of the ride home they just talked about bits and bops. "Thank you so much for dropping me off." Jade smiled while walking to her frontdoor with Spencer "You're welcome Jade.." He slowly leaned in and softly let his lips touch her. After kissing for a few minutes, Jade slowly pulled away with a smile on her face "Goodnight Spence, i'll see you later." Then turned around, walked inside and closed her door. She quickly took her phone and while taking off her shoes she dialed Stefan's number.

After telling Stefan everything about the date she sighed with a smile on her face and laid down on her bed "You sure you liked that date? It doesn't really sound like something you'd do yourself, a fancy restaurant. You're more a Diner girl." Jade smiled "True but he still needs to get to know me and after he does, he'll take me to other places and stuff." Well atleast that was what she hoped would happen. "I hope so miss disco, i gotta go girl. Talk tomorrow?" "Of course! Night bubby." then they both hung up the phone. She got up and walked into the bathroom to take a quick shower to relac. After gettin out the shower she quickly texted Spencer to thank him for the date and that she hoped that they could do it over again soon and right after she send that text she texted her best friend telling him goodnight and then she laid her phone on her nightstand, turned off all the lights and sunk into a dreamless sleep.
