Chapter Fifteen

It was around three weeks after the incident. Other than the fact Nico was slightly more drawn back, everything as fine.

Nico's bruises and cuts had been healing nicely and no bad encounters with the step-monster had happened. Things were going alright.

"Hey Will! Good luck tonight!" Luke called at me from across the cafeteria. I thanked him and told him the same.

"Yeah! Good luck Will you'll do great!" Jason told me when I sat down at our table. Percy was quick to join us.

"Talking about the football game?" He asked. Jason nodded. "Oh yeah! You guys will be great the RHS team sucks."

"And were all coming to cheer you on!" Jason said enthusiastically. Nico sat down at that moment.

"Going where?" He asked quietly.

"Your boyfriend's game tonight." Percy said gesturing from Nico to me with a slice of pizza.

"Oh."

"You are going, right?" Percy questioned him.

Nico nodded, "They already begged me to go."

"We didn't beg!" Jason defended.

"You begged him for something without me? How rude!" Percy faked a hurt look.

"Oh stop being such a baby." Annabeth said while laughing at him.

"It would have been easier with me there." Percy huffed childishly.

"Why would I need you when I had Will? He could get Nico to do anything for him." Jason explained.

"Not true." I inquired. "I tried to get him to get me a glass of water last week and he came back with a cup of ice and told me to wait."

Percy lost it.
He was laughing so hard that he leaned back and fell off the bench. That caused the rest of us to laugh even more as he struggled to get up.

When he finally got up he was still
laughing.

"What a savage." Piper said.

"Why though? Were you mad at him or something?" Hazel asked while giggling still.

"No, he can get up and get his own water." Nico defended.

"Thanks Neeks." I muttered sarcastically. He swatted me in the arm. "Sorry." He just rolled his eyes.

"OTP." Percy squealed. Literally squealed.

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"He ships you two." Jason explained.

"What does that mean?" I repeated.

"They like our relationship." Nico explained.

"Oh, thanks, I guess?"

"No problem man."

"You guys are good for each other." Piper stated.

"Yeah, Nico has smiled twice this week, that's got to be a record." Percy joked and Nico glared at him.

Will and Jason convinced me to go to the football game, I don't even like football. But I have to say Will looked pretty good in his jersey. Not that I was checking him out the whole time. Just once or twice.
