I hop in the backseat of Cecil's car and Lou smiles at me.
"WILL! Long time no see!" She yells excitedly.
"Ha, yeah, it's been a whole day! Great to see you again." I laugh, she always greets me like this. Lou is pretty hyper and enthusiastic. Cecil grins at me. "Ready for junior year?"
"Yeah, anything is better than being a freshman" I joke.
"You haven't been a freshman for two years." Lou stated.
"Yeah, but it was still unpleasant" I retort. She rolls her eyes at me. I stick my tongue out at her and we laugh.
We arrive at school and go to the courtyard to meet up with some of our friends. Piper spots us and walks over grinning. She hugs Lou.
"Hey guys! How was break?"
"Pretty good, what about yours?" Cecil responds.
"It was really fun" She smiles and some of our other friends come over.
"Guess who's here?" Travis asks us.
"Uh, who?" I question.
"Nico di Angelo," he says. My eyes go wide.
"Oh yeah. I saw him at the mall with his friends last week." Lou says.
"Wasn't he in jail or something?" Cecil asks her.
"People said that but I don't think so."
"Then where was he the whole summer?" Travis questioned.
"None of his friends know and he never said anything." Connor, his brother, adds.
"It's just a stupid rumor he was probably just visiting family." Lou inquires.
"Yeah, you're right I guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true. I mean he's pretty...unpredictable." Travis says.
Nico di Angelo used to be a really happy guy who was friends with the popular group, then something happened in his family, his sister or mom died I think, and he missed weeks of school. When he came back, nobody even recognized him. He was pretty much a poster child for like, My Chemical Romance or something. Oh, and I've had a crush on him for two years. That's probably why I wanted to run away as fast as I could when I walked into my first period and sat down to later be accompanied by Nico di Angelo himself.
