Ezra glanced over to the cave opening that morning. He was the first one awake. Yet, it was still surprising that Starkiller was still awake. He was sitting at the cave entrance looking at the snow emotionless. With a tiny yawn he sat up. Once again a coat fell off of him.
"Hey, did you stay up all night?" Ezra asked the male. He jumped a bit before shaking his head no. Ezra bit his lip for a second. With a sigh he walked over to the male with the coat in his hands. He placed it around the male's shoulders.
"You know you should rest more. You probably have large bags under your eyes." Ezra stated sitting down next to him. Starkiller glared at him from under his helmet.
"Maybe you should mind your own business." Starkiller snapped getting up. He walked over to the fire pulling his coat back on. This left Ezra sitting all by himself at the cave entrance. Ezra sighed as he dropped back down to lying on the ground. Ugh. What had he done to deserve this? Survive the pod crash?
M wave at him to come sit with them around the fire a little bit later. He sighed sitting between her and Starkiller. He could probably cut the tension between him and Starkiller with a knife. As for the others, they just laughed and joked with each other every few minutes while smiling. They were having a little bit of fun ignoring the fact that they might all die soon if they didn't get off this rock. Which was the exact opposite of what he was thinking.
"Asshat your with Thexan for getting more wood. Me and M on the other hand are going hunt today. DJ, you and Arcann just rents here for a bit, okay?" He states loudly. Ezra sighed getting up off of the floor the same time as Thexan. The two males trudged out of the cave through large piles of snow all. M and Starkiller on the other hand headed out to go hunting.
Half ways through the day the Ezra was sitting on a fallen trees while being bored in handcuffs again. Thexan was working on chopping wood again. The two males were sitting there in silence while just looking at each other.
"Does everyone here hate me?" Ezra mumbled. Thexan jumped a bit looking at him. The look on his face looked as surprised as anyone felt about hearing that question.
"No. I actually like you. Why do ya ask?" Thexan asked putting the red blade in his back pocket. Ezra sighed as he shook his head.
"I don't know. Starkiller doesn't seem to like me." Ezra sighed laying down on the log as best as he could.
"He doesn't hate ya, he just- he isn't like anyone else. He's different. Yet, he treats ya different because he isn't used to you. He's gotta meet a person and have time to connect with 'em before he trust 'em." Thexan stated looking at the male. Ezra just sighed again as he looked up at the clouded sky. Then he felt something. Yet, he knew what that something was. A warning sign from the force. He bolted up straight to see a large set of yellow eyes glowing as they stalked behind a tree.
"He'll like ya more once he gets used to ya." Thexan smiled. Then his smile disappeared when he heard a growl behind him. As he turned the animal bolted at him.
The creature was covered snow white fur like it's surrounding. It had large paws the size of a entire flanged football. It's large yellow eyes just read that it was hungry as it looked at the male. This was either a wolf or a very strange cat.
The creature bolted at Thexan making him scream. He fell to the ground knocking the breath out of him as he began to panic. His blue eyes were closed for another five second before his eyes opened wide. To his surprise there was no wolf trying to eat him on top of him. Yet, a scream rang out making him jump.
He glanced to the left seeing Ezra trying to either push the wolf of or force push him away. Yet, all he knew for sure was that his shoulder was bleeding a large amount of blood all over the ground. There was also a few cut marks on his face. As for the wolf, it was trying to scratch his head off while growling. Thexan jumped to his feet digging out the lightsaber and turning it on within second. The wolf jumped of the blue haired male within a few seconds.
"Leave him alone!" Thexan stated loudly as he swung the blade at the wolf. It whimpered as it tried to backs way. Yet, it walked right into a tree causing it to stay in place. The blade swung down over it's muzzle causing a large scratch to be left in it's place. The wolf whimpered as it ran away. As soon as the wolf was out of view, Thexan dropped next to the bleeding male.
"Is it gone?" Ezra asked looking up at him. Thexan nodded his head digging a bandage out of his pocket before trying to wrap the large shoulder wound. Ezra hissed a bit as the bandage was wrapped around his arm tightly.
"Sorry. It's gonna hurt for a while." Thexan sighed as he continued his work.
"That's fine but, what you did with the lightsaber was pretty brave." Ezra smiled.
"Not really. I just swung an object. You on the other hand pushed a completely psycho out of the way of a wolf's pouncing range."
"It's no big deal you know."
"No big deal, blueberry you save my life! You saved my life and I don't even know you that well!"
"Hey, I'm just doing what you would do for me."
"Kid, I'm not sure if I would have done that for anyone to be honest. I'm not exactly what you would call good."
"Nah. There's still good in you. There's no way that can actually be killed. Just buried under a lot of other things you obtain over the years." Ezra smiled before wincing in pain as the bandage was tied tighter around his wound. The bleeding began to stop but, the wound wasn't closed. Thexan was gonna have to take him back to the cave to fix that. Thexan gulped fro a second.
"C-can you stand up?" He asked. Ezra shrugged before trying to stand up. His legs were shaking but, he was standing okay. Well, to be honest he was a little dizzy. Thexan got up quickly leading him by his good arm.
"Okay, I'm just gonna get you back to the cave for a bit okay?" Thexan stated. Ezra nodded his head yes trying to walk forward. Yet, he just ended up falling face first in the snow as the world got really blurry. He rolled over onto his back see blurry puffs of smoke struggling to leave his mouth. Meanwhile his arms was tsing as much as possible who,e the world got darker and darker. Yet, all he head was Thexan yelling as he dropped down to the ground by his head. Blue eyes full of worry were the last thing he saw before he blacked out.

A few hours later he woke up seeing nothing but, a large fire with a few people sitting around it while eating. They were all so silent that all you could hear was the fire crackling. Everyone seemed a bit down as they ate in silence. With a groan Ezra sat up. The noise he made, made everyone to jump before looking at him.
"Hey guys. What did Inmiss?" Ezra smiled. M let out a yelp of happiness as she hug tackled him to the ground. He groaned but trying to pushe her off. Starkiller quickly grabbed his sister pulling her of him. Thexan smiled at him drooping down next to him.
"Hi blueberry. How was your two day nap?" Thexan asked with a smile." Ezra's eyes buldged out of his head.
"What? I was I for that long?" He yawned sitting up. He winced as he held his shoulder. That was when he looked down at what he was wearing. It wasn't usual his outfit. Well, it was his normal clean clothes and boots. Yet, his jacket was half way across the room being sown up. Instead of a bright white fur coat he was wearing a large grey furred coat. The same one he had wrapped around him every night he had woken up.
"Yeah and you scared half of us to death." Thexan sigh dropping down next to him. The two boys looked at each other for a minute before hugging him.
"I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. I should have paid attention to our surroundings." Thexan stated. Everything about him even his force signature read the feeling of guilt.
"Thexan it's fine. I'm alive. I'm still breathing." Ezra smiled pushing the boy off of him with his good arm. Which he realized wasn't in any sort of handcuffs. In fact he didn't see the handcuffs anywhere. Thexan sighed sitting down next to him. M on the other hand escaped her brother's grip and went back to hugging him lightly.
"You still lost a lot of blood. You should rest up until your better." She stated hugging him.
"Okay, okay. I'll rest. Now will you stop worrying about me?" Ezra asked as the the young girl stopped hugging him. She sat down next to him with Thexan while smiling her head off.
"Just so you know asshat no more missions for you." Starkiller stated glaring at him from under his helmet. With a sigh he did as he was told. Everyone crowded around Ezra as they slept to keep him warm and to make sure he was safe. Except for Galen, he just sat at the cave entrance again while looking blankly as ever at the male they almost lost. The male they almost lost because of a mission he sent him on.
"Maybe I'm not cute out to be a leader." Starkiller sighed as he looked back outside.
