5 Seconds of Summer Imagines and Preferences

Ashton Imagine (For Daria)

     "And what are you up to today?" You switch your cell phone from one hand to the other as you hold your two year old daughter's hand. You smile at your husband Ashton Irwin's voice over the phone. Always happy.

     "Taking Lacey to the Hemmings house. She and Jack have a play date and i'll just spend some time with Melany." You say as you hoist your little girl up into the car seat. You hear Ashton's laughter bubble up from the other side of the phone call. He never ceased to make you smile.

     "I love how you and Luke's wife are best friends. And our daughter Lacey is best friends with Luke's son Jack. It's meant to be baby." You could feel his smile through the phone call. You shut the door to your daughter's side of the car and climb into the driver's seat.

     "I know right. Well Ash i gotta run. Miss you." You sigh a little.

     "I miss you more Daria. Bye, Love you." 

     "Love you more." You hit the end call button and strap your self into the seat. Looking in the rear view mirror at your little girl. She has Ashton's floppy golden girls. And his dimples. You smile to yourself as you turn on the radio and pull out of your driveway. 

     As you drive to Luke and Melany's house, Your Song by Ellie Goulding came on the radio. It happened to be the song playing in the backround before Ashton proposed to you. You felt tears welling up slightly. Ashton had been away on tour the past 6 months. You took a few deep breaths before pulling up to Luke's house. Getting out of the car, you get Lacey and you both head up to the door.

     "Look at those two." You and Melany smile at your kids playing on the floor.

     "Those two will have a romance I swear." You laugh and Melany nods and sips her coffee. You spend a few more minutes talking about mom stuff and your kids before there is a knock at the door.

     "I'll get it." Melany says smiling. She ruffles Jack's hair as she passes him. You kneel on the floor next to Lacey and Jack, joining in their play with them. You suddenly hear the sound of a bag dropping onto the floor. Your head shoots up. You gasp.

     "Ashton!" You say, jumping up from the floor you run to your husband. With tearrs streaming down both your cheeks, he gathers you into his arms holding you.

     "H-how are you back? I missed y-you s-so much!" You can barely choke out the words in your embrace.

     "We wanted to surprise you." You hear Luke's voice from behind you and Ashton. You turn to see a tear stained Melany with Luke's arm around her. Michael and Calum stand awkwardly behind them.

     "Yes you guys can go see your wives now." Luke says teasingly. They both run out. You laugh and turn back to Ashton who is already looking at you. He presses his lips tenderly against yours. 

     "I love you so much Daria. And I always, always will. I'm so thankful for you. I'll always be here for you Daria. Always." He says before kissing you once more.
