Ashton Imagine (For Rachel)

   "And I don't know it has just been difficult with school and work lately." You say as you wipe a stray tear from underneath your eye. Swittching the phone from one hand to the other you hear your friend agree with you,

     "I mean, I wish I could tell Ash. I really do. But he is quite busy himself. I don't want to worry you, you know?" You say, more as a retorical question.

     "Yeah I get you. Rach I have to get to work. Call me later." Your friend says before hanging up. You sigh and push your phone into your back pocket of your pants. You push your sagging eye makeup from your tears back up your eye line. As you look in the mirror you see your boyfriend Ashton leaning against the door frame with with a defeated look on his face.

     You spin around and see him walk away. You hear his feat pad down the stairs. You immediatly realize that he heard everything you said. Cursing under your breath you run after him. Coming into your living room, you see him sitting cross legged on the couch just staring at the black TV screen. You take a deep breath and sit down next to him.

     "I just don't get it Rachel," He is the first to speak, "why didnt you just tell me you were upset?" He turns to you but you can't bear to look back at him.

     "Did I do something wrong?" He asks you, taking your hand in his. You immmediatly shake your head.

     "No Ash, I just have not wanted to bother your life with my silly little problams. You have so much on your plate, so much to do, I didn't want to bother you..." You trail off and look into his eyes. He bites his bottem lip and sighs.

     "What?" You ask him.

     "Its just that... You are my life." He sighs. You gasp and smile. A tear runs down your cheek.

     "I love you so much." He whispers before pulling you into his arms.

     "I will always be here." He says and holds you tighter.

     "Thank you so much Ashton.' You whisper. He tilts your chin up to him and presses your lips into a meaningful kiss.
