"Are you kdding me right now?" You cross your arms over your chest and sit in your right hip, glaring at the mess Calum had left in the kitchen of your apartment. You drop your backpack from the over night at your parents house and head upstairs to find Calum.

"Calum. Seriously?" You open the door to your shared bedroom and find it cluttered with clothing and a pizza box. Video games scatter the floor in front of your TV and Calum is sprawled out on your bed with a beer near his right hand.

"Calum!" You yell in his face. He wakes up with a start and rubs his eyes. The second he sees you he widens his doe eyes at you and begins to chew his bottem lip.

"I asked you to clean this up Cal." You say quietly. He pushes himself out of bed and crosses his own arms over his chest and looks at you, frowning.

"You can't keep riding me about this, Jocelyn. I am a grown man, I can do whatever I want and I don't need you to babysit me." He sneers.

"Fine. I'll quit worrying about you!" You grab your bag and begin to walk away but Calum grabs your wrist and wrenches you back next to him. You yell out in pain, clawing at his hand to release your wrist and he does.

"Joce! I-I didn't mean to- to do that! Or say any of that!" He runs after you as you hurry down stairs to the door.

"I expect you and your shit out of this apartment by tonight. Fuck you Calum." You grit your teeth and storm out.

FOUR MONTHS LATER------------

You did admit to yourself that it was empty in your apartment without Calum's laugh to keep the days okay for you.

Days were shorter and hotter-nights were longer and colder without him. You sometimes missed his messes in the apartment and the occasional blasting music like Nirvana and Blink-182. You wanted him back like you wanted to breathe air.

You just wanted to feel again. It was cliche, and you knew it.

One particularly slow Monday night, there was a knock on your front door. You dragged your feet to answer it. When you pulled open the cold metal door, you could barely contain yourself to see who was standing there.

"Before you say anything, I'm going to talk." He said to you sternly. You just nod and act disinterested to him.

"Nothing has been the same for me after our breakup. I can't eat I can't sleep I can't do anything without thinking about you. Everyone notices. I love you so much Jocelyn. More than you can ever comprehend. So, I guess what I am really saying is that I don't know I want you back. No. I need you back. Please be mine again Jocelyn. I love you Joce." He wiped the fallen tears from his cheeks and looked longingly into your eyes.

"I know." You say softly, before smiling and going into his arms as you should.
