JENNY Faye and Tommy both came from prominent families. They practically grew up together as both their parents were business partners.

Jenny Faye is her parents' unica hija, while Tommy has two other older siblings. On most occasions, they would play together while their parents get busy running their company.

One gloomy afternoon, while the two were playing from afar, Tommy's father, Mr. Ferrer said thoughtfully :

"Compadre, in the near future , your daughter would make a lovely wife to my son. I bet they wont have a hard time dealing with each other."

The two met up for a big business proposal and were working double time just to secure the deal.

"Well, that's a thought. I don't see Jenny Faye being with some other boy either. " Mr. Rodriguez nodded in agreement as he sipped his coffee from an expensive China cup.

" What do you say about arranging their marriage then? Don't you think that's kind of old school?" Mr. Ferrer suggested as his comrade leafed through some of the documents on the table.

"I've actually thought about that. At least, we wont have to worry about their future, financially and emotionally." Mr. Rodriguez said matter-of-fact.

"It's still a long way off, I know, they're just in their 12's yet but it's always better to plan ahead, don't you think?" Mr. Ferrer, being the CEO of their company, always exudes this air of supremacy over work and...practically everything.

Mr. Rodriguez agreed and finished off with a loud burst of laughter as if he just closed a huge business deal: "Well, here's to a whole new partnership. Cheers Compadre!"

ON the other side of the garden, Jenny Faye and Tommy were so consumed with playing Monopoly. But in between the game, there will bickering here and there as Tommy is known to always pick on Jenny Faye.

"Stop cheating, you frog!" Jenny Faye blurted out as Tommy landed on the 'property' she's been eyeing on.

"I'm not cheating!" Tommy laughed so hard while taking on the lead. "I'm just too good on this, you better get your sorry ass off here." He teased some more as tears start to build in Jenny Faye's eyes.

"Well then, game's over!" as she toppled the game board upside-down and ran off towards his then puzzled father.

"Dad, I wanna go home!" She exclaimed as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"But honey, your Uncle Freddie and I aren't done yet. We still have a lot of things to do." Mr. Rodriguez explained as he tried to pacify her. Being the only daughter, Mr. Rodriguez - or Angus to his friends, has the tendency to give in to her daughter's yields as this is his only way of making it up to the lost times due to work.

Freddie, on the other hand, tried to confront his son from what happened. Naughty as he is, he just shrugged his shoulders as if it's not a big deal. "T'was just a game Pa; it's not my fault she's not a sport!" and ran off to play video games instead.

"I think making arrangements for their 'future' may not be the best time yet, Compadre!" He said later on with a resigned voice.

AT home with the Ferrers; Freddie was finalizing their business proposal when out-of-nowhere, he opened up with his wife, Marinella, about the discussion he had with Angus regarding arranging Tommy's marriage with Jenny Faye.

"Don't you think it's too early for that? Besides, it'll be better if they'd end up with someone they love, and not just because their family leaves them with no option." Marinella responded while putting on her night cream. She, herself, was a product of arranged marriage, but lucky for her, she has fallen in love with her husband practically all her life.

"So, were you left with no option when they had you marry me? Freddie couldn't help but do a loyalty check with a mocking face as he tried to sound hurt. Marinella, all dolled-up with her black lingerie against her flawless white glowing skin, teasingly came up to where Freddie was and started to whisper in his ear which sent thousands of volts up his spine. He kissed his wife passionately and reminded her once again how overflowing his love for Marinella is. They repeatedly made love to their hearts' delight.
