Prologue

Y/N's P.O.V.

Being a celebrity was never easy, but I never regretted it in the slightest. Although there were tough times, the good times definitely trumped them. I've met so many people and experienced so many things... I never thought that me and my three best friends, Andrea, Vanessa, and Mariana, would ever make it this far.

It all started five years ago when the four of us began doing covers on YouTube. Our account got a lot of publicity, so we eventually began writing some of our own music. We all are talented singers we all know how to play at least one instrument.

The four of us traveled to a few different places, but no where too far from our home, Oxford. Our most memorable, first big performance was at an event at Oxford University. After that, we moved on to local music festivals. More people started to recognize us and that eventually attracted the attention of record labels.

We confirmed our signing to Fueled by Ramen, a subsidiary of Atlantic Records; the guys who were in charge of some big names like Panic! At The Disco, Gym Class Heroes, and Twenty One Pilots. To say we were excited about this was an understatement. Vanessa and I were nineteen, Mariana was twenty, and Andrea was twenty-one.

We've stuck together for nearly four years now, making it kind of big in our hometown of Oxford, England. We've even had the opportunity of traveling to Ireland, Germany, and France for fan meet ups, and small tours. One of our greatest moments was opening the stage for Paramore when they toured in Paris. That was definitely a night we'll never forget.

And even now, it's almost impossible to believe that our band, "In Between", has made it far enough to be invited to a music awards show in the United States...
