Chapter Two - The Interview

Y/N's POV

The sun shone brightly in the autumn sky, and seemed to make our day even better than it already was. I could barely sit still, nervous and excited about our interview and now the AMAs!

"I still can't believe we'll be performing with all of these famous people!" Andrea said, steering the car.

"I still can't believe we'll be performing in front of all of these people... I mean, there'll be so many talented people there. They've been singing a lot longer than us." Vanessa said from the passenger seat.

Beside me in the back seat, Mariana was looking out of the window, seeming to think about what Vanessa had said.

"Vanessa, don't be so negative. It's just like when we opened the stage for Paramore. They've been singing longer than us, so they deserve respect, and besides. We were invited to sing with them! If we weren't talented, we wouldn't have been invited." Mariana's words seemed to encourage all of us.

I smiled at my friend, thankful that I had the three of them.

"True... I'm just nervous." Vanessa mumbled.

"It's okay, Vanessa, we all are," Andrea reassured her "but it'll be okay. We have plenty of time to prepare and our fans are very supportive."

"And the other people performing seem pretty cool. Like that one band you were talking about, Mariana." I said.

"Oh, BTS? Yeah, all of the members seem so sweet. And hey, they're not from America either and were invited to the AMAs... So we're not the only ones." Mariana seemed excited.

"Oh, that's right. They're from Korea... Hm, are they good?" Andrea asked.

"Good?" Mariana blurted out sarcastically, "They're amazing! Here, I got you."

Mariana was grinning widely as she pulled out her phone.

"So this is 'BTS' and they're so good! I'm not a huge fan, but they have some pretty cool songs. I've watched some V-Lives they've done too... Okay, here's a picture."

Mariana handed her phone to Vanessa, then covered her ears, already knowing what was going to happen. Vanessa studied the group photo for a moment.

"Woah... They're HOT." She shouted.

"Let me see too!" I said and took the phone from Vanessa.

On the screen, I counted seven members, all very charming. They all had warm smiles on their faces, highlighting their attractive features. I couldn't help but stare for a moment.

"Wow, you're not wrong, Mari." I mumbled.

She laughed as I handed her phone back to her. She continued swiping through pictures and stopped at one. I looked over her shoulder to see a BTS member smiling cutely, showing off his dimples.

"He's hot." I blurted out.

"Oh, RM? He is cute. And really smart too!" Mariana smiled.

'Intelligence just makes him even more attractive.' I grinned at my thought.

"Do you have any of their music?" Vanessa asked.

"HAND ME THE AUX CORD." Mariana said dramatically. "You guys are going to love this!"

"Oh no..." Andrea mumbled jokingly, handing the cord to Mariana.

Once she had plugged to cord into her phone, she played a song, smiling brightly.

"This one is called 'Go Go' and it's amazing."

The music began and it just made me want to get up and dance. It was upbeat, and I automatically fell in love with it. We listened to the song while Mariana danced crazily to it.
