Chapter Seven - The Arrival

Y/N's P.O.V.

I looked over to Vanessa, Mariana, Andrea, and Daniel who were all sleeping in their seats, cuddled with their blankets. I was the only one awake, for some reason not able to sleep. The plane ride had me excited, but anxious for the past week. It seemed crazy to think that we were on our way to America, performing at the AMAs in only five days.

I reread the messages us and BTS had sent back and forth when I had reached out to them. I couldn't help but smile at the messages.

I turned off my phone and looked out of my window. Below, I could see the Atlantic Ocean, seeming endless yet beautiful. It was my first time on a plane, and I couldn't say I hated it, but with eight more hours before arriving in California, I felt bored out of my mind.

I laid my head against my seat, closing my eyes and forcing myself to get some rest. I had barely slept for the past week. It seemed I had only began to doze off when I heard a commotion behind me. A baby had started crying loudly.

"Well, that's really loud." Vanessa grumbled beside me.

"Yeah, just a little." I replied softly, "I can't really sleep anyway, I feel so restless."

"At least we only have three hours left." Mariana had joined our conversation, woken up by the baby too.

"Three hours?" Vanessa repeated.

"Yep." Mariana answered with a smile, "I'm so excited!"

"Oh, I can't wait!" Vanessa exclaimed.

"Me neither!" I added.

A flight attendant came down the aisle, stopping beside us.

"Are all of you doing okay?" She asked politely.

I looked up at her, and as soon as I did, I noticed a significant change of her facial expression.

"We're doing okay, thank-" Mariana began, but was cut off by Daniel across the aisle from us, beside Andrea.
