Chapter Eight - Unexpected

I was sticking the dollar in the machine when Mariana started slapping my arm hysterically.

"Mariana, calm down, I'm getting the chocolate chip cookies."

"Forget the damn cookies... LOOK!"

I followed Mariana's wide-eyed gaze to the hallway connected to the lobby I was standing in with my friend.

I froze on the spot. What I saw coming towards me made my heart stop. I felt like my brain disconnected from my body, unable to tell it to move. Instead, I stood frozen in my pajamas, slippers, messy hair, and dumbfounded expression.

'Wait, that can't be them. Is that-'

"Y/N?! MARIANA?!" A familiar, yet unfamiliar voice came from the people walking towards us.

V, J-Hope, Jin, and RM had entered the lobby, and V had yelled our names excitedly.

"OH MY GOSH!" Mariana dropped the dollars, shrieking at four out of seven members of BTS standing in front of us.

They chuckled cutely at her reaction and came closer to us.

"Oh my- I-It's so nice to meet you!" I exclaimed, seeming unable to breathe properly.

They began shaking our hands, smiling brightly.

"It's nice to finally meet you too!" Hoseok beamed, and then bent down to pick up the dollars Mariana had dropped. "Here you go."

I could tell Mariana was fangirling internally. "Thank you J-"

"Please, call me Hoseok. Or Hobi even." The handsome boy smiled adorably.

"Okay." Mariana blushed even more.

"Same goes for all of us. Feel free to call us by our real names." Namjoon smiled.

"Thank you so much!" My mind then registered that Mariana and I were in our pajamas. "Please excuse us looking like this, we were buying snacks." I laughed nervously.

"Oh, don't worry about it, Y/N!" Seokjin said sweetly. "I can't believe we're at the same hotel... Wait, are you guys on this floor too?"

"Oh, unfortunately we're not." Mariana laughed at her own joke and Seokjin did too. "We're on Floor 16."

"Oh, okay. We'll definitely have to hang out!" Taehyung chimed in.

"Wait, if you guys don't mind, do you want to meet Andrea and Vanessa? They'd love to meet you!" Mariana asked politely.

"Of course we would! I'll go get the other three too." Namjoon smiled.

He hurried back down the hall to their hotel room to fetch Yoongi, Jimin, and Jungkook.

While we were waiting, Hoseok spoke again.

"I still can't believe we're at the same hotel! This is very awesome. We've actually been fans for a really long time."

"Yes, we love your music!" Taehyung added.

"Aw, thank you so much!" I gushed, "We're huge fans of your music too. It's so awesome to talk to you in person."

"Okay, open your eyes!" Namjoon said over his shoulder.

Behind him, the other three members uncovered their eyes, and their faces immediately lit up.

They all took their share of saying hello, it's nice to meet us, and they love our music. We thanked them, smiling at the love and support they gave us.

"So would all of you mind surprising Andrea and Vanessa?" Mariana asked mischievously.

"Sure!" Taehyung chuckled and the rest agreed.
