I wake up the next morning and roll over running into, Peter? Huh? I look up and he's still sound asleep. That's when realize I'm not on the couch-- I'm in his bed.

How'd I get here? Oh shit, did I do this?

He shifts and I bite my lip as he wakes up.

"Hey." He mumbles.

"Hi. I'm sorry, I don't know how I got in here. Did I just break into your room and take over your bed?" I ask and he laughs.

"No, I brought you here. You were saying you were cold last night and wanted me to stay with you."

"Oh god, I'm sorry." I say and he smirks.

"It's fine." He says turning his back to me as he gets up.

"You're welcome to stay in here." He says then walks to the bathroom. I roll over onto my back and sigh looking up at the ceiling.

I get it now. I get what that dream or whatever it was, was telling me. The unspoken thing between Peter and I... Shit...

I finish the dance then stop to take a breather as the song ends.

"Looking good." I spin at the voice and take a deep breath seeing Josh.

"What do you want?" I hiss.

"Well, I think I've made it pretty clear I want the money. But that's not actually why I'm here today."

"Really? Then why are you?"

"Christmas is in three days, I want to spend it with you."

"You've gotta be kidding me." I say taking a sip of my water.

"Of course I'm not. I really do. In fact, I have a proposal." He says and I scoff.

"What?" I ask

"You give me the money Jacob stole from me, I swear you will always have a home and life with me." He says and I scoff again.

"The last time we spoke, you threatened me. The time before that, you left me alone, drunk out of my mind, and on the fuckin side of the road, the day after my husband as you now tell me, overdosed!" I shout

"Look I get it, I made some mistakes in my past but I wanna make it up to you. Jacob didn't deserve you, he was a terrible human being."

"And you didn't do shit to help me!" I shout and he breathes heavy as if trying to control himself and his anger.

"Having some trouble there, Josh?" I ask and he lunges but I step back.

"You're just like him." I spit as the horn sounds outside.

"That's my ride. Get out of here, the money isn't yours, or mine. I'm not following in Jacob's footsteps, I'm not bringing his enemies onto me. I'm turning it in, it all in."

"That would be a foolish mistake. Then what would you do? College drop out, jobless, little to no money left in your name. You'd be on the road in a week." He says

"Then so be it." I spit as the horn blares again.

I honk one more time and still no sign of her. I look around and pause spotting the black SUV from earlier.

"Shit." I mutter then jump out of the car and run inside.

"When he finds out the truth, even he will leave you." I hear as I slowly turn the corner.

"Rosalie?" She looks over at me and so does Josh.

"You okay?" I ask and she nods as Josh backs up from her.
