12:17pm, Christmas Day.
"Nine centimeters! Almost there, give it all you've got." The nurse says and Angie screams giving that one last push. Suddenly a cry sounds in the room and the nurse stands up smiling.
"It's a baby girl" She says and Angie sobs as she hands her to her.
"Hi baby." She sobs and Hunter sobs pressing his lips to Angie's forehead then to his child's.
"Hi. I'm your daddy. And this is your beautiful mommy." He says and I smile as Angie turns to look at me.
"You did it." I whisper and she cries. I press my lips to her forehead.
"What are you going to name her?" I whisper and she smiles.
"Hope." She whispers and my heart flutters.
"Hope." I whisper back and she nods.
"Hi baby Hope, I'm Rosie. I'm your aunt." I whisper tears falling down my face. The door opens and I look over as my mom walks in.
"Oh my goodness." My mother whispers running over.
"Mommy, meet Hope. Hope Rose Ashe." She whispers and I smile as my mom kneels beside Hunter.
"Go get him." Angie whispers and I smile standing up. I leave the room and turn the corner seeing Peter down the hall.
"Hey." I say and he turns to look at me.
"So?"
"Baby girl, her name's Hope."
"Fitting." He whispers and I nod giving him a hug.
"Do you want to see her?"
"Oh Rosalie, I don't think it's my place."
"You're apart of the family now. She's fully clothed, and I don't want you standing out here alone. She told me to come get you." I say and he nods.
"Oh, and Merry Christmas." I whisper pressing my lips to his. I pull back and take his hand then lead him back to her room. We walk in and Angie looks over at us with a smile.
"Come on." I say and he walks over behind me.
"Oh my gosh." He whispers and Angie smiles as he looks at Hope.
"She's beautiful." He says and she smiles.
"Thank you." Angie says and I smile rubbing my hand on his back.
"You're welcome." He says and my mom walks to us.
"Go home and get some sleep you two. Freshen up some." She says and Peter and I nod.
"I'll be back Angie." I say and she smiles.
"Get some sleep, you were with me through that whole thing. I know you're exhausted, we'll be okay." She says and I walk over and kiss her on the forehead then Hope.
"I love you." I whisper and she smiles as I walk over to Peter and take his hand.
~~
We make it back to the house and my feet literally drag as we walk inside.
"Come on." He says and I nod as he leads me up the stairs. We walk into the guest room and I pull off my jacket and boots. Somehow, I find the strength to change out of my jeans and put on some sweatpants as Peter disappears into the bathroom. Next thing I know I'm face down on the bed super happy to be in it. I hear him come out and walk over to me. He pulls the blanket up over me then climbs in beside me. Turning over to face him he smiles tucking my hair behind my ear.
"Merry Christmas." He whispers and I smile as my eyes fall shut.

My eyes groggily open and I groan rolling over onto my back. I reach over for Peter, but he's gone. I sit up and grab my phone off of the beside table. It's only seven pm. Christmas isn't over yet. I pull on a sweater and cross my arms as I walk down the stores.
"Hey." I say and he looks over at me.
"Hey." He says and I smirk seeing the gift.
"What's that?" I ask and he shrugs.
"Your Christmas gift."
"You didn't have to do that." I say and he smirks.
"I wanted too." He says and I smile looking around at all the presents.
"Oh my gosh, idea." I say and he nods me on.
"Let's bring Christmas to Angie." I say and he smirks.
"Sounds like a plan." He says and I grin as he kisses me on the head.
"I'll pack up the cookies, you get the presents." I say and he nods. I clap my hands together then rush into the kitchen and start putting the Christmas cookies in bins. Once those are all up, I walk out and help him get the gifts in the truck.
"Yes!" I exclaim and he laughs as we hop in.
"Let's go!"
