Your POV

I woke up early this morning, and I felt happy. I got ready for work in less than ten minutes. Although there were slim chances of meeting Seokjin again, I hoped we would bump into each other on the streets again.

But that would not happen.

Walking to work felt longer, for some reason. I got there eventually, although it took about ten minutes. I walked in the door and saw Amber serving a customer. She looked up and saw me and motioned to the customer she was serving.

I looked at her confused, but then looked at the customer, and saw a familiar face.

"Y/N! Annyeong!" Seokjin came over with a cup of coffee in his hand.

He smiled at me, and I smiled right back.

"I thought you weren't working at this time, so I asked your friend where you were." He told me. I nodded in response.

"Maybe when your on your lunch break we can talk a bit?" He suggested. I was more than happy with the idea.

"Of course! My lunch break is a long time away though," I said.

He shook his head. "I'll wait." He told me. "Are you sure? It's another-" he cut me off by putting his index finger on my lips.

I think I just died.

He took his finger back and took a seat at the back of the café. I stood there motionless, not knowing how to react, when Amber clapped in front of my face.

"Yah, come on, we have work to do." She referred to the long line of customers waiting impatiently at the counter.

I nodded and followed her behind the counter.

I took the orders as Amber made them, and we were able to get through the long period of time until it was our lunch break.

I rushed over to Seokjin, only to find he wasn't there. I was upset, I knew this would happen. I looked down at my feet, and, felt a hand on my shoulder.

I looked up to see Seokjin. My eyes lit up and I sighed in relief. "Yah, you thought I was gone, didn't you?" He asked and ruffled my hair.

He took a seat and patted the vacant one next to him. I took a seat.

"I was in the bathroom." He said and I nodded in response.

"I thought you left ." I said, embarrassed.

He slightly chuckled and put his arm around me. "I'm sorry." He said.

I couldn't breathe properly, and he took his arm back, getting a bit worried.

"Yah, are you ok?" He asked. I nodded.

No.

He smiled and looked onward. "So, is it normally this busy?" He asked me, trying to start a conversation to break the awkward silence between us.

"I suppose it's average, although we're only half way through the day," I responded and he nodded.

His phone beeped in his pocket, and he took it out to check it.
