Chapter 9

Jin's POV

Everyone was sleeping soundly. All except for me. It was about 3:30 A.M.
I couldn't sleep because of what happened a while ago.

We nearly kissed. I don't even know the girl, and we nearly kissed.

I wanted to become good friends with her, and I had her number, that's something, I guess.

I didn't want to leave in two weeks. I wanted to stay here. It was such a pretty place. And so was she.

Jin, what the hell.

I felt sorry for Y/N. Her father was cheating on her mother. It must be hard for her.

I got up and went over to the kitchen. I searched the fridge for something to eat.

I rested my head in my hands as I sat at the kitchen table. I heard quite footsteps walking towards me.

I looked up and smiled as I saw Y/N. She sat beside me and we were silent for a few moments.

"Can't you sleep either?" I asked her. She shook her head no in response.

"Is there something troubling you?" I asked and she thought for a moment before shaking her head again.

"You?" She asked.

"Nothing, just not that tired." I lied.

We talked for a few minutes until we heard another pair of footsteps come towards us.

We looked up and saw Jimin come towards us. He smiled and sat besides us too.

We all talked for a few minutes before Jimin got tired and went back to bed.

Me and Y/N talked for a few more minutes, and then decided to go to bed too.

I drifted off to sleep in only a few minutes, despite everything on my mind.

I woke with a start. I looked around, everyone was asleep. I wondered over to the kitchen.

I poured my cereal into the small white bowl and began to eat it. I heard loud snoring and walked into the sitting room.

I chuckled and took a picture of Taehyung cuddling into Jungkook. He's always been the clingy type.

I went to get dressed and when I came out, I saw Y/N was awake and stretching her arms up as she yawned.

I smiled and waved at her, and she smiled back.

She came into the kitchen with me and I made breakfast for her.

"Yah, your such a gentleman." She complimented me.

I took a spoon of my cereal and noticed how messy her hair was. I couldn't contain my laughter and the milk shot out of my nose and mouth all over her pyjamas.

"Shit, sorry!" I said between laughs. I went to get tissues and she just sat there,  laughing her head off.

She's so pretty when she laughs.

Wait, what the f-

"Yah, sit down, it's ok. These are Jimin's anyways." She shrugged.

I sat back down. We eat our cereal in silence. Namjoon came and joined us.

We all talked for a bit, and it was about a half an hour before we were finished our cereal and everyone was up.

Y/N had to go to work, so she got back into the clothes she was wearing yesterday and thanked us all and helped us tidy up.

I walked her to work, and came in with her to get a cup of coffee.

She made my usual order and served it to me. I took an occasional sip and watched as she worked.

Her lunch break finally came around and she made coffee for herself and came to sit with me.

"So, when are you going?" She asked me, a bit disappointed.

"Two weeks, but don't worry, we have FaceTime, messages, all that." I reassured her.

She nodded and smiled.

"Thank you for being my friend, Jin." She said. I smiled at her.

"Thank you for being my friend, Y/N." I said and pulled her into a hug.

She hugged me back and we stayed like that for a few moments. We finally released the hug.

"I'll get back to work now, you can go if you like." She offered.

"Yah, are you crazy? I'll stay here until you go home." I told her and she smiled.

She continued to work for the day and finished her work. We walked out of the café and walked down the street.

Her phone beeped and she took it out.

She sighed and put it back in her pocket.

"It's my mother, she needs me home to tell me something." She told me and I nodded.

"Ok, I will walk you home." She smiled and we began to walk back to her house.

When we reached it, she turned to face me.

"Thank you for last night. You saved my butt." She chuckled.

"Anytime, see you soon." I said. We said good bye to each other and I started to walk back to the hotel.

I hope what ever news her mother had, it wasn't bad.
