Two Months Later In Mystic Falls

"WHAT IS WITH ALL THE DARN HEADACHES?" Rebekah screamed from the upstairs.

"Calm down Bekah. You are not the only one that is having headache problems. My memory is suddenly filled with Tatia. It's quite painful actually," Kol shouted back to Rebekah

Suddenly, Rebekah passed out.

Back in the Village

Kol and I have grown very close. It was Bekah, Kol, and me. All the time. I basically lived at their house now. I am in a major dilemma right now. I have fallen in love with Kol. For some reason, Kol has stopped hanging out with us and is now part of Tatia's entourage. I feel deeply hurt about it. He is always laughing and talking with her. I barely see him now. One day I was walking through the village and I see Taita kiss him. I let out a cry. I struggled to breathe. Kol noticed me and parted from Tatia.

I ran. I ran far away. Well, not THAT far away. I ran to Ayana's house.

"'Lena, you only ran three feet," Kol stated awkwardly.

I ran red faced, rushed into the house and told her to not let him in, and to call Bekah. A few minutes later, due to having a small village, Bekah arrived.

"What happened 'Lena?"

"He kissed her."

"Who Elena? Who did who kiss?"

"Kol kissed Tatia."

"Are you kidding me? He's such an idiot."

"It hurts so much Bekah."

"Love hurts, 'Lena. It is painful. The reason it is painful is because it is the best feeling in the world. Once you lose it, it is very painful and hard to get back."

"Why her? What's so good about her? What does she have that I don't?"

"I don't know Elena. Maybe he will realize his mistake. Do you want to go to the waterfall?"

"Yes, please."

When we reach the waterfall, I immediately jump in. I kept coming up for a few seconds for air and then going back under. I didn't really look around, so when I came up and actually looked around, I saw Kol there. He was staring at me.

"Elena. I'm s-"

"No. I don't want to hear it Kol. You might not have known it, but you were hurting me. I loved you. You broke my heart."

"Loved?" Kol asked while stressing the D sound, "so you are saying you don't love me anymore?"

"You broke my heart Kol. I love you. You chose her. Speaking of which, why aren't you with Tatia?" I asked as tears were streaming down my face.

"I don't love Tatia. She came on me. I didn't kiss her back," Kol said coming towards me.

"But you didn't push her away either. And you were a jerk to me. I can't believe I still love you!" I cried out in frustration. Suddenly, a pair of lips were crashed onto mine. I opened my eyes and realised it was Kol. I might not get another chance, so I kissed back. Tatia might steal him away from me, so I will enjoy it while it lasts.

"Elena, the only person I love is you. I've loved you since the first time I saw you. I will keep loving you until I die."

At this point, I was crying.

"I love you too," I said while tears were streaming down my face. He came up and wiped the tears away. We both leaned towards each other and shared a small but passionate kiss.

"Elena? Will you do me the honor of letting me court you?" Kol asked with a gleam of hope in his eyes. What's courting? Oh right. I think it's a form of dating in the old times.

"Yes Kol. I would love to." When I said that, he took my hand and led me back to the village. When we were done wandering the town, we went to his house to tell his siblings and parents.

In Mystic Falls...

All the Mikaelsons passed out. When they woke up, Stephen was waiting for them.

"What happened?" he asked.

"We were just having flashbacks," Rebekah explained.

"Of what?"

"Our human years," Klaus answered.

"What happened?"

"You will find out when she gets here," Kol smirked.
