Back In The Village

"Mum! Dad! I'm home! Come down here all of you! I have news!" After he said news, everyone came running into the room.

"What happened? Are you okay? Is Elena okay? Was it the wolves? Did Ta--" Esther started to ramble.

"Mother! I'm fine! I have news about Elena and I. We are together."

"Oh thank goodness. I thought something bad had happened. You had me worried Kol! Congratulations!" Esther explained.

"Bekah!" I screamed as I ran over to Rebekah. "I missed you!"

"I missed you too Elena. Now. Tell me the story of how Kol somehow got you to agree to him court you." We went upstairs and told her how I went underwater for a while and found Kol about the surface. How he kissed me, and he told me he loved me and only me. She thought the whole thing was really cute. Then she stopped gushing and just sat there emotionless.

"You know what I just realised?" she asked.

"What?"

"We're going to be sisters!"

We both started squealing and jumping up in down while hugging. Kol came in and gave us a funny look.

"What's happening here?"

"We are going to be sisters!" Bekah squealed. "Make it happen," she said while poking his chest.

"I'll do everything in my power to make her mine forever, Bekah." I looked at him while he said that. His eyes held nothing but truth, hope, and love. He looked at me and smiled.

"How long have you liked my brother, Elena?" Bekah asked with a questioning look.

"For about two months now."

"How have I not noticed this?" both Bekah and Kol asked at the same time.

"Because I don't make it obvious," I stated while shrugging.

"Hey, 'Lena? Will you go to the caves with us tonight. We usually go every full moon," Kol explained. He came closer to me. "Only to keep you safe, my love," he whispered in my ear.

"Of course I will. Thank you for inviting me. We will be heading there in a couple of hours."

"I will go let Ayana know. I will be right back."

"Bye 'Lena! See you soon." Bekah shouted towards me.

I walk out and see Niklaus and Elijah walking in.

"Hey, Elena? Can I talk to you?" Klaus asked me.

"Sure." We walk over to the side of the building and lean against the side of the hut.

"I understand that you are dating my brother now."

"How did you know?"

"We heard you from outside the door."

"Oh."

"I just wanted to say that I think you are a good influence. I hope you stayed longer than the last one."

"The last one?"

"Her name was Lidia. She was a snobby girl, but he loved her so we put up with her. He caught her cheating."

"Oh. That must have been hard on him."

"It was, but the way he looks at you, he didn't even look at her like that."

"That's nice to know. I have to go though. I'm going to the caves tonight, so I need to go inform Amaya of where I will be at."

"Alright. See you then, Elena."

"Bye Niklaus."

"Just call me Nik."

"Goodbye Nik." After saying that I left. I went and told Amaya of where I will be at.

"Elena. I understand that you are excited to be with Kol and friends with Rebekah, but tonight is going to be a bad night."

"Wait. Is this the night?"

"Yes. This is the night that Henrik passes. I understand you have not met him yet. He is a quiet child. Keeps to himself. He is usually in his room."

"I want to meet him before he goes."

"Then hurry child. You don't have long."

After she said that I ran out the door. I went inside and ran up the stairs.

"Bekah? Do you have any more siblings?"

"Yes. There is one more. Henrik. He keeps to himself, but if you want to meet him you can."

"Yes. I would like to meet him."
