Meanwhile...In Mystic Falls

"What do you mean she's gone!?" Damon yells.

"I didn't know about it," Esther said quite calmly.

"I don't care. You are the bad guy. How do I know you aren't hiding her in your basement?"

"Because I needed her to kill my children. How can she do that if she is locked up in my basement?"

"I don't know. You are the reason she's gone! It's all your fault!" Damon screamed at Esther. He ran at her and ripped her head clean off. He then stood still for a second, and then he turned his humanity off. Stephen walked in.

"Damon?" he asked. And after that he was gone.

Back in the village

"Everything went well, I hope?" Ayana asked me as I walked through the door.

"Yes. I made friends with Rebekah. She is a lot nicer now than she is later on."

"From what you told me, she has been betrayed by her family many times. I believe she gave up being nice."

"I think by me being her friend, I can prevent that."

"Let's hope so. She is a sweet girl."

After saying that, we went the the table and ate dinner. I went to bed soon after. I dreamed of what it would be like to be back home. With the originals constantly attacking us, Stephan constantly babying me, and Damon not letting me make my own decisions, I would rather stay here with these nice people. Why is my life so complicated?

In the morning, I was awoken by Ayana.

"Elena. Rebekah is here to take you away."

"To where?" I ask as I slowly get up.

"To the waterfall. It's a beautiful place," Rebekah stated as she walked through the door.

"Alright. Let me get dressed please."

"Of course."

Once she leaves, I get up and put on one of the dresses Ayana made me while I was gone. I picked the white dress in the corner. When I was done getting dressed, I went downstairs and left with Rebekah.

"Now that we are friends, is it okay if I call you 'Lena?" Rebekah asked me.

"Of course, Bekah."

"I also invited my brothers. Elijah and Niklaus didn't want to come. Tatia didn't like that I had a new friend, so she wouldn't let them come. You will meet them sometime i'm sure. However, Kol is able to come. He's a very childish person."

"I'm sure it will be a pleasure to meet him."

We arrive at the waterfall. I see a figure sitting at the edge of a rock by the lake.

"Kol!" Bekah yelled to her brother.

"Rebekah! Who is this?" Kol asked motioning towards me.

"Elena. Elena Gilbert," I state.

"Kol. Pleasure to meet you," Kol told me while taking my hand and bowing while kissing it.

We all walked towards the edge of the lake.

" Are you planning on going in?" Kol asked me.

"It looks pretty deep."

"Can you swim?"

"Of course I can sw--AH!" I screamed as Kol pushed me over the edge and into the water. When I come back up I see him laughing. He didn't notice that I came back up. I looked at Bekah, winked, took a deep breath, and went back down into the water. After a few minutes, I came back up. I saw Kol as pale as a ghost and Bekah crying.

"Bekah. Why are you crying?"

"'Lena!" She screamed as she jumped into the water. She swam up to me and hugged me. "I thought you were gone!"

"Are you okay Elena? I'm sorry I pushed you in," Kol then started rambling about how he could have killed me and how he was so sorry.

"Kol. Stop. I am okay alright. I'm not dead."

"I'm so glad. Do you ladies want to take a stroll in the village?"

"Sure," Bekah and I answered at the same time. As we walked through the village, I saw a girl that looked exactly like me. Well, before I changed my appearance. She looked over at me and glared. What did I ever do to her? She came over to me.
