A month later...

Yoongi dropped his suitcases by his bed, then fell face first onto the soft comforter. He let out a loud, exasperated sigh of exhaustion that was muffled by the sheets, but he didn't care. He was just tired as hell

The night before he played at an art gala, which went on for hours on end, and the only break he had was for some wine and reluctant socializing. It didn't help that he had to catch a flight immediately after.

Yes, a flight.

Yoongi had decided that after all of his lack of motivation to do anything, he needed a vacation. A long vacation.

So here he was, in his best friends guest bedroom in Busan.

Thankfully his fame was primarily centered in Daegu, so he wasn't worried about any media or stress of work. If he knew that would be a problem, he wouldn't have come to Busan in the first place.

"Yoongi! I'm going out to the farmers market for some fresh produce, do you want to come? It might wake you up a bit!"

Yoongi sat up and glared at the wall. He really wanted to say no and sleep for the rest of the day but... Seokjin was nice enough to let him stay for a month and a half, so he figured the least he could do was accompany him on his errands.

"Coming." Yoongi grumbled, although it wasn't able to be heard by Seokjin. It was mostly for his own sake.

Begrudgingly, Yoongi got to his feet and grabbed a black bucket hat. It was too sunny outside, and Yoongi was too tired to deal with the sunlight in his eyes.

He came downstairs and was greeted with a smiling Seokjin, wearing a very large brown sweater and jeans. Seokjin was always smiling, it seemed. Yoongi couldn't tell if it was admirable or annoying.

"Why do you wear that thing? You're practically swimming in it

"Why do you wear that thing? You're practically swimming in it." Yoongi snorted.

Seokjin raised an eyebrow as he put his wallet in the large front pocket. "Because it's cozy. Why do you always wear that ratty hat? It looks like you only have half a face."

Yoongi scoffed. "Alright, point taken." He muttered and slipped his shoes on. "Ready to go? I kind of want to do this as fast as possible."
"No promises." Seokjin shrugged. "If you're in such a rush, why are you coming anyways?"

Yoongi followed him out of the house. "Because I want to feel at least somewhat productive and if I stay, I'll sleep the rest of the day."

"What else is new?" Seokjin teased, earning another eye roll from Yoongi.

There was some silence between them as they walked to the farmers market, the only sound coming from the two of them being the sound of gravel crunching beneath their feet.

"So how's the famous life treating you back in Daegu?" Seokjin asked, glancing in his direction.

Yoongi laughed quietly, his hands shoved into the pockets of his denim jacket. "Eh."

"Eh?"

"It's... not terrible." He clarified.
Seokjin raised an eyebrow.

"But not as glamorous as you anticipated?" He hummed. "I told you."

"I know you did." Yoongi grumbled. "But... I don't know. I still can't see myself doing anything else. I've given all of my heart to playing the piano, and composing, and I'm okay with that."

"Mm. You don't sound that content."

Yoongi rolled his eyes for the umpteenth time that day. "Is that so?"

"Yeah. It sounds like to me like your heart is longing for a little bit more than just music." Seokjin mused. Yoongi knew what he was hinting at and knit his brows together.

"I'm not gonna go fall in love, so you can forget about that." He muttered.

Seokjin scoffed. "You're still on that 'I'm married to my work' crap? C'mon, Yoongs. You know no one that's said that has ever lived a happy life?"
"Yeah, well I will."

"That implies you aren't right now."
"It- Alright, shut up." Yoongi grumbled and refused to speak after that. He knew that Seokjin was just messing with him, but he seriously refused to 'catch feelings.'

Sure, for some people it was probably an absolute thrill to fall in love and share the rest of forever, but Yoongi wasn't about that. He thought it was childish, tiring, and a waste of time.

When they arrived at the farmers market, they were both mildly displeased.

Seokjin because the stand he was hoping to find wasn't set up that day and he had to settle for one that was run by someone he wasn't too fond of, and Yoongi because it was a lot more crowded than he remembered it being.

Yoongi stood off to the side while Seokjin began to bicker with the booth director about the price of the pea pods.

The mess of people in the market at the moment was a bit overwhelming, but two distinct words didn't go unnoticed by the grouchy man in the bucket hat and denim jacket.

"Min Yoongi-"

Yoongi's eyes widened and he scanned the crowd wildly, convincing himself he was probably just hearing things.

Unfortunately, he met the eyes of certain young woman. Specifically the head reporter of Daegu's local gossip column.

Why the hell was she in Busan?!

"Shit." Yoongi hissed and didn't even bother alerting Seokjin. He just took off running into the farmers market, hoping to lose her but damn was she fast.

"Min Yoongi! Hey!" She shouted above the crowd as she still ran. "Is your new material going to be out soon!? Hey!"

Yoongi ignored her and kept running.

He spotted a booth that had an arrangement of hand made clothes and there was a cubicle of curtains just off to the side, which Yoongi realized was for anyone that wanted to try something on.

Perfect.

Without thinking too much about it, Yoongi bolted for it, going around it to get in from the back curtain so the booth owner didn't scold him for barging into it.

Honestly, given the situation, Yoongi didn't care what he saw. He was going to explain to whoever he potentially walked in on as soon as the reporter left, but right now he just wanted to hide.

Yoongi rushed in through the back curtain, his hat almost getting caught on the dark red fabric but he just barely managed to catch it before it fell off his head.

He heard a loud, astonished gasp from behind him and the sound of somebody rushing to cover themselves, and Yoongi turned, ready to explain.

But he was not prepared to see the cute brunette boy from the Daegu mall tea store in front of him, his hands holding his bunched up tee shirt over his bare torso.

"Jimin!?"
