"Jimin!?"
"Grumpy turtle dude?! What the fuck?!" Jimin hissed as he took a step back, keeping the shirt up against his chest. "What the actual hell do you think you're doing?!"
Yoongi stared at the brunette boy in shock, unsure of what to say. He was dumbfounded.
He wanted to tell the truth- He had intended to tell the truth but what was he supposed to say?
'Oh, yeah, I'm hot-shot musician from Daegu and this crazy woman is trying to get dirt on me so I just decided to hop into this changing cubicle?' Yeah, no, that doesn't exactly cut it.
Especially for someone like Jimin...
Alright, so that was maybe a weird thought to have considering the two had only met once (now twice), but something about the feisty brunette sparked something in Yoongi's chest.
It felt like he had to impress him, even though Jimin was, for the most part, a stranger.
"Hello? Earth to turtle? Jesus, you're a fucking creep, do you usually just barge in on people changing?" Jimin snapped Yoongi out of his thoughts and Yoongi felt himself begin to heat up.
Oh god this was awkward.
"Um- No! God, no, of course not. Listen, I can explain." He stammered, frantically trying to figure out what to say.
Jimin raised an eyebrow. "I'm waiting." He glared.
Yoongi chewed on his lip. He couldn't tell him the truth... Not yet. That would be too much too soon.
"I'm visiting my friend here in Busan and he dragged me to this market and, aw man look I'm so sorry, but my ex-girlfriend saw me and she's- she's fucking nuts, dude, like clingy and shit and I just ran, y'know? I didn't even think about someone being in here, I'm so sorry."
Jimin's face softened a little bit, instead now displaying an amused, lopsided grin. "Ah, I see. Crazy ex, then?"
Yoongi nodded hesitantly.
"Y'know what, don't worry about it." He moved his arms finally and lifted them over his head to pull his tee shirt back on, giving Yoongi a full view of his tanned torso. Wow.
"Are you sure? I-"
"I'm serious. I dated this guy back in high school and I swear to god, I had to change my number because he wouldn't leave me alone." Jimin laughed.Yoongi stared at him, as if stuck on the word 'guy.' "You're gay?" He asked, totally blunt and to the point. That's just how he was. He never liked any of the fluff and sugarcoating stuff.
Jimin scoffed. "Why, got a problem?"
"No! No, no- I was just... Actually, I don't know what I was asking for. Curiosity?" Yoongi laughed awkwardly.
Jimin then grinned."Ah, are you questioning?"
"What? No! I'm-"
"Bi-curious?"
"No, it's not-"
"Not what?"
"I'm not bi-curious or- whatever. I'm just bi. Got it?" Yoongi groaned, taking off his bucket hat and running a hand through his messy hair in frustration.Jimin laughed. "I know."
"But we don't even know each other." Yoongi stared at him as he fixed his hat back onto his head.
"I know. But I'm not stupid. You mentioned your ex girlfriend, and you were eyeing the shit out of me a minute ago." Jimin winked. "Anyways. Enough of that. You know my name, I don't know yours. Help me out here, turtle."
Yoongi almost smiled at the nickname. "I'm-" He stopped himself. Would Jimin know his name at all? Well, this was the moment of truth. "I'm Min Yoongi from Daegu."
