Yoongi pushed the door open, a bell ringing as it closed behind him. He looked around, adjusting the glasses that sat on the bridge of his nose.
It was completely empty, the lights that were above the chalk-board menu were turned off, no one was behind the counter either. He was starting to wonder if he had arrived at the right place... Maybe Jimin meant a different cafe?
"Hello?" He cleared his throat, stepping towards the front counter.
Someone walked out from the back, a blue apron draped over one arm in a heap and the other hand carrying a cardboard drink tray with two cups. Yoongi felt relief wash over him.
"Jimin. Hey." Yoongi smiled awkwardly. "I was starting to worry that I went to the wrong place."
The boy raised an eyebrow as he hung his apron up on a hook behind the counter.
"Do you know of other 'Park Cafe's around here, Min Yoongi From Daegu?"
Yoongi laughed a little and put his hands in his coat pockets.
"Well you did come to the right place, I guess I just forgot to mention that we close at 7:00 on Sunday nights, and I'm the only one that closes." Jimin shrugged, clarifying the situation for the blonde-haired man.
"Ah." Yoongi nodded. "Why at 7?"
"Dunno. That's just how my family has always run this place." Jimin shrugged once again and walked around the front counter. "Here." He held up the drink tray. "Take one. Either of them is fine."
Yoongi raised an eyebrow, eyeing the two cups suspiciously. Jimin burst out into quiet laughter upon noticing his expression.
"Relax, grandpa. I didn't poison one of them. They're both our seasonal special; peppermint hot cocoa." Jimin smiled and Yoongi took the cup closest to him, his hand wrapping around the cardboard cup holder.
Jimin took the second cup and tossed the drink tray. "Oh- I almost forgot my hoodie. Give me a sec." He sighed, setting his drink on the counter and rushing into the back again. He came back to the front pulling the hoodie over his head, then grabbed his drink and flipped off the remaining lights in the cafe so the only light they had was that of the street lamps outside. "Alright, I'm good to go." He smiled, then led Yoongi out of the dark cafe, locking the door behind them.
