How to: Get Rid of Acne

Do: Drink a lot of water. Drink up to 8 glasses a day to help prevent acne. Drinking water has other benefits too like keeping your body healthy and growing out your hair.
Don't: Sleep with your hair down. The oils from your hair can get on your skin and into your pores- causing pimples. Instead, tie your hair back ina ponytail, bun, or back braid.
Do: Use a light mosturizer, lotion, or cream. It can be beneficial, especially if you are using prescription creams from your doctor that dry out your skin.
Don't: Use heavy oinments or grease. These can furthur clog pores and cause breakouts.
Do: Take off all your makeup before you go to sleep. It is harmful to your skin; or just don't use makeup.
Don't: Use dirty makeup applicators (brushes, sponges, etc.). They are filled with dirt from your face, bacteria, and dead cells, causing acne when using too much.
