Chapter 9 // Feelings

Jimin's heart is breaking more and more each day with the sudden changes of how his demon treats him and he doesn't know how long will he able to keep his patience with getting such a bad treatment without him doing anything bad towards Yoongi.

He just doesn't understand what has he done to Yoongi until the situation between them has changed in a bad way, and he needs an answer.

But he's too afraid to talk about it.

Two weeks have passed, and Jimin does the best everyday being a street magician to attract anyone on the street and people have started to know him as the 'Popular street magician', and of course being known a little bit is already making Jimin happy.

Also, thankful for his demon's help.

The night has replaced the day as they walk in to the house without any usual conversation. They have became so quiet lately, they just talk in purpose of Jimin's job.

Because yeah, their relationship aren't more than the contract. Well, that's how they want that to be but also in the same time they don't want that to be. It's confusing and frustrating for both of them, so they stay quiet if there's nothing necessary to talk about.

Jimin sits on the bed with his half-soaked hair because he just finished his shower and he stares hardly at the floor.

They don't share bed anymore, not after the 'thing' happen between them when Yoongi told him with his cold tone last two weeks, "Focus on being a magician, nothing more."

For Jimin, it's clearly obvious that Yoongi really has no hard feelings toward him because everything is based on the contract, and it's a lie if that isn't depressing him silently under the cheerful smile.

For Yoongi, it's a different case. He didn't mean to hurt Jimin's feelings, he said that because he was protecting him.

Protecting from something, someone.

"Jimin, why are you staring at the floor like that? Are you okay?" Yoongi voices out from the door, making the younger gives a fake smile.

"I'm fine."

Of course, they don't talk much anymore for 2 weeks straight but that doesn't mean Yoongi is ignoring him, because as a personal devil he is, he should care for the lord. Faithful way or not, that means nothing in the contract as long as the devil isn't disobey the lord.

Yoongi looks at his lord's babyface who is smiling to him, he knows Jimin is faking the smile to not be a burden and he hates it when Jimin being like that but he can't do anything.

"Okay, good night. Don't let the bed witches bite." Yoongi says, wishing it like it's normal for human to say it in their daily life.

Jimin gulps, he quickly jumps from the bed and pulls Yoongi's wrist gently. "I-If they want to bite me, you'll save me right?" He asks timidly because little that Yoongi doesn't know is,

Jimin is scared of ghosts, witches and stuffs like that.

Yoongi chuckles and lightly pulls away, "Why? Don't tell me you're scared of ghosts."

Jimin bites his lips with his head hanging low, slowly he nods. He's kind of embarrassed to tell Yoongi that because he's legit 21 years old yet he is still scared of ghosts.

The demon smiles darkly, he suddenly closes Jimin's eyes with his large yet slender hands. Not to mention, he's already behind Jimin in a blink of an eye to make it easier to close his eyes.

His single hand fits perfectly to close both of Jimin's eyes as his large hand is enough to cover Jimin's small face.

"H-Hyung? What are y-you doing?" Jimin asks, clearly he is scared now as he feels like the world is spinning badly with the loud noises around him, he feels trapped.
