Chapter 24 // Tree

Jimin sits on the bed with blank face while staring on the floor after he took a shower.

He's just, blank.

Why? What? Where? Who?

Those questions pop out in his mind without any good answer and that makes him more emotionless although deep down he's very emotional.

Jimin decides to just wait like what Yoongi told him to do, but he still can't leave the uneasy feelings that lingering around his heart.

His tummy growls softly, "I'm so hungry." Jimin walks to the fridge and he releases a sigh when there's no food he could eat.

"Well, let's go eat something tasty huh tummy?" Jimin says with a small smile while patting his tummy.

He used to talk to himself a lot before but he stopped when Yoongi came in his life, but now his devil is no longer around, the habits start to be there again.

Jimin combs his hair neatly, and walks out after locking the door. He looks around, it's still early for people to gather at the town for their own business so it's easier for him to walk around, looking for any tasty foods to eat.

There's a café on the 7th street, the building is brown with a few of people in there. Jimin enters the café and walks to the cashier as he orders his favourite coffee.

"One espresso macchiato with less sugar please." Jimin orders politely as the cashier smiles and takes the money from Jimin's small hand.

Jimin sits on the nearest single table while waiting for his coffee, he feels lonely as there's no one he able to talk to.

He rests his forehead on his backhand, closing his eyes while thinking about Yoongi's gummy smile. He misses the older way too much until he can't cry anymore, he just able to wait since Yoongi didn't leave any hint where is he going.

"Mind if I join you?" A sudden gentle voice in front of him, surely it's not Yoongi's husky voice.

Jimin knows this voice, the calm yet stern tone that makes his breath hitches.

He looks up, and he feels like there's nobody there in the café although there's still a few of people as fear starts to appear in his eyes while looking at the man in suit that sits with full of elegance in front of him.

"Y-You..." Jimin whispers shakily.

It's the man who choke him at his and Yoongi's house before.

"It's Jeon for you." He smirks.

(Flashback 3:50am.)

After Yoongi left with heavy heart, he sighs in guilt but keeps on walking as he's doing this for Jimin.

For their relationship's sake.

He walks to the park which is far away from his house where Jimin is sleeping soundlessly with a heavy heart.

The devil stops walking as he stands under the tree while looking up to the dark sky with the tree scent around him.

The tree is very big, and it's a single tree at the furthest of the forbidden park that no one will go there anymore except for Yoongi.

The tree is still as half big as the hell's door. Yoongi says to himself.

"Yoongi~"

Yoongi looks behind quickly to the familiar voice, but there's nobody there.

"Yoongi hyung~"

The same voice, it's from in front of him.

Yoongi looks in front him and still earns nothing, there's no one there except him.

"I know you're here. Show yourself!" Yoongi shouts, his voice hears as it doubled since it's very empty there.

"Behind you~"

Yoongi fastly looks behind, but still there's no one. He's getting annoyed at the muffled voices from everywhere.

"I know it's you. Stop playing around!" Yoongi shouts again, his veins are starting to show same goes to his fangs.

"Close your eyes, and I'll be down there~"

Yoongi groans and shuts his eyes tightly, he knows the owner of the voice loves to play around just like the old times.

Suddenly, there's a cold hand touches his face, making Yoongi opens his eyes fastly.

- And he clearly feels like his heart is breaking.

He thought he will not getting this painful feelings since he's ready to meet him again, but no.

The guilt is still eating him alive when he meets the person in front of him who is looking at him with mixed feelings in his eyes.

"Yoongi hyung, do you miss me? Your first lord, Jung Hoseok." He says with sadness and anger in his eyes but with a smile on his face.

Yoongi pushes the hand off from his face and looks at him with furrowed eyes.

"Why are you coming back after years? Most importantly, Who returned your soul?" Yoongi asks, backing off from Hoseok who is staring at him with mixed feelings.

Hoseok suddenly cries, and screaming loudly while kneeling down under the tree with hands on his head harshly.

"You love someone else, don't you?"

"Don't worry, I won't let he disturbs us b-because you love me right? You still do love me!" Hoseok says hysterically, letting the tears drop on the grass.

Yoongi bites his lips, trying to hold himself back.

"Don't you ever hurt my baby, Hoseok."
