Jaxon is such a nice person, I wouldn't think anyone would of let me in on such short notice. I thought I was out there all alone, in the cold scary world.. but I still do not recall where I came from or who I am.. was Jaxon my creator? Did he make me?.. he seemed like an inventor to me. So many unanswered questions, I couldn't resist asking. I tried to ask Jaxon but a waterfall of words came out from my audio box and not in a good way.
"W-where λM EEE- ₦₦. ﹩♭∂ღ∀∀ ᴊᴢᴢᴢᴢ vྂHྂaྂnྂɧʂꀭɑƙ ʂʐʂ!!" I glitched again. I was going nuts! My screen kept glitching, my head kept steaming. It was awful. Jaxon winced but he lifted me up onto his desk and placed me down.
"Don't worry, I'll fix your circuits" he took out a few tools I wasn't sure the name of was. I still was having my spazz attack so to speak and looked at what he was doing. He put down one of his tools and it shined from the light above. I lifted it up and looked at it. Jaxon took out all of his tools and looked at me.
"No! That's a knife don't play with that" he snatches it away and I jolted up.
"Sorry citizen.. it looked fascinating to me!" A grin appears on my screen. He chuckled a bit.
"Something must of hit you pretty hard, huh?" He grabbed a screw driver and unscrewed a plate that was covering the battery to my head.
"I don't know what you mean citizen" I confronted. He removed my battery and placed in a new one. He continued on with fixing me.
"Well, some type of person or object should of caused this damage shouldn't it?" He moves my head to the side.
"Looks like the shape of a baseball bat hit you.. yikes" he continued on and I was sitting patiently, examining his room. I looked over his plans that were on the wall and saw a few robots on them, a lot of the robots had the same facial expression as Jaxon does.
"Hey citizen.. why do these fellow robots look like you?.." I asked. He looked over at the pictures.
"Oh, it's just a little project, I am trying to make robots more human like.. I took 90 tests and none worked.. so I just left that plan sitting there.." he looked down. I looked at the plan again and scanned it since my scanner started working, thanks Jaxon! I got up and examined his cabinets that were under the desk and open them, taking out gears and tools. I start to make human parts, the heart, the stomach, the liver, the lungs, etc. I knew these names at the time by looking at the plan paper my little cheat sheet. He watched in fascination. I finished and sat back down at my place, looking at him.
"....h-.... how did you-..." he was speechless.
"It's very easy citizen! You only have to mix the robot compartments and shape it to work as if it was a human organ, I've analyzed your work and tried to do the same!" I smiled. He hesitated for a second and chuckled.
"Ohhh man, who ever hit you in the head must of missed your brain chip cause I would of never have figured that out!!.. well.. of course hehe.. your a robot so.. your IQ is probably through the charts" he smiled. A smile shows on my screen as well.
"All we need to do is test it out" he grabs the knife and dissects me. I was thinking about how he acts differently than me, more energetic, like the eyeballs that were in his skull have seen wondrous things. He seemed alone too.. just like me. As I was thinking about this he places the organs inside of my body.
"That should be an upgrade for you" he patches the rubber back and fixes the rest of me. Everything started working and I looked around.
"Better?"
I nodded.
"Good.. thought I would lose a friend"
I felt a bit sad for him.. but more confused about why my chest was pulsating. I look at my chest and see that it's moving, the cheat sheet didn't say what these organs do apparently.
"Oh, heh, yea.. that's the heart, it basically is pumping the blood supply throughout your whole body, I know you don't have any blood but I added some vessels to you so at least your heart can pump oil" he explained. I was saving this information so I wouldn't forget next time. I got up and started to shiver.
"Cold?"
I nodded.
"Umm.. here, use my jacket" he takes his blue hoodie off and hands it to me. I take it and examine it, not knowing what to do with it.
"Oh.. whoops" he takes it from me and puts it on.. or at least tries to fit my big head through the hole of the hoodie. Once he put the hoodie on me I felt warm and cozy. I started hugging myself in warmth, my screen showed me turning a light orange and a mix with red to show that I was warm, the same with my fingertips.
"Woah.. heh.." he put his tools away and sat down at the couch. I followed him and tried to stay in the same position he was in. He puts his hands behind his head and laid back on the couch. I tried to do the same. He looks over at me and laughs a bit. Once again, I do the same.
"So.. do you remember.... anything?" He asked. I looked down and shook my head no.
"Not even your name?.." I shook my head again. He looked at the corner of my head and saw a scratched out name.
".. is this it?.. shoot.. it's scratched out..."
"Well citizen, since I do belong to you now, you can name me anything your... errr... heart! Desires" I smiled.
"Hmmm... how abouuut... Digit" he said. My left antenna straightened out in surprise and glee. Then it went back to being broken.
"That's a great name!" I said in joy.
"Than Digit it is" he agreed. I saved the name to my file and got comfy on the couch, feeling warm once again.
