For OCs
Okay some of this might just be me but
When I read a fanfic based of a tv show or whatever I want the OC to have other friends.
When they are only friends with the core group it's odd. Like makes some more OCs give them friends. Or other characters on the show.
Also they can be friends with everyone but not best friends and it's okay to make "beef" with people
Ex. Riverdale
OC: friends with core group and Reggie + jocks isn't friends with Chuck or Veronica
Ex. Teen Wolf
OC: friends with popular kids but doesn't like Lydia becomes friends with Scott and Stiles
Ex. The 100
OC: has other OC friends (I mean damn there's 90 strangers) friend with Jasper/Monty/Miller doesn't like Octavia
They got friends but dislike a main character even if they don't have "beef" you are aloud to dislike people
