Chapter 17

"Baby...i just need you to calm down..." he said slightly broken

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HIM JOSH!" I screamed.

"Babe... its nothing... serious..." he stuttered. "the doctor checked you...the venom went strait to the baby.."

"WHAT? SO WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN?!!" I snapped.

"Babe its ok... Mark said he has never seen this happen before... normally if the luna gets bit and she is carrying the pup... it doesn't make it..." he spoke.

A tear escaped my face... i could've lost him... I was so close... I don't know what i would do if i did lose him.

"Hello everyone... uh Luna i see you're awake..." Mark said walking into the room a concerned look on his face.

"What is wrong with my baby Markus?!" i asked starting to get a little pissed at everyone.

"Luna.... we are dealing with a hybrid..." he spoke.

"What the hell is a hybrid?" i said

"Its a vampire and wolf mix breed." he said worried.

"Ok so the baby is fine... why the fuck do you still look worried?" i asked quite fucking annoyed.

"Luna... if you go through with this pregnancy and birth... this child could kill you..." he said.

I felt anger rush through my body and then fear made its way to take its place... i cant let Carson go. But i cant die... Josh would mourn so much and not take care of the baby... then he would have to go under foster care....

"I have made my decision..." josh looked at me with a look of continue. "I am going to go through with this pregnancy....if it kills me Joshua then you WILL take care of him... no matter what... yes you may miss me... but remember I'm in a better place. Please just promise me if i go you will take care of him no matter how much it hurts..." i spoke sincere tears pouring down my face as i stuck my hand on Josh's face.

He turned his head into my hand letting tears escape. "I promise."

"Ok good. Now i want to go home." i said now getting up.

I got dressed with the help of josh and we went to the car and were on our way home. The car ride was silent. But i didn't care so many things were running through my mind at that moment. I was so zoned out i didn't realize we pulled up to the house when i saw an oddly familiar car in the drive.

I got out and saw who it was i took off into the house crying.

"ANGEL!! ANGEL WHERE ARE YOU!!" I yelled.

"Jocelyn? is that you?" i heard her say from the kitchen. I ran into the kitchen and tears burst into my eyes. I ran to her and hugged her as close as my belly would let me.

"What are you doing here?" i said still crying.

"Josh called me... you're so big girl!" she said.

"I know.. i missed you so much.. I'm so sorry for just taking off and not calling." i spoke.

"We knew you were in good hands." She said smiling. "so can i?" she said referring to my tummy.

"Yeah.." I took her hand and placed it on there letting her feel Carson. "You feel that? thats baby Carson." i said smiling at josh. He just looked at me and gave me a broken smile.

"Ok well the luna needs her sleep." josh said not making eye contact with anyone.

"Luna?" angel said.

"I will explain later..." i replied. I took angel to her room and then went to josh and i's.

"Goodnight.." he said just laying down not kissing me or anything.

"Joshua i understand this is going to hurt. But damn it its your fucking kid. It should mean the world to you. Yes i should to. But you should be able to take care of him because if I'm not here then he will need you. You have to be strong for him. Do you fucking understand me?" i snapped.

Josh's eyes got huge. "Ok babe. Im sorry." he said closing his eyes and kissing me deeply. Then he parted from the kiss and we laid down.

Josh put his hand on my stomach and kissed it. Then came back up to my forehead and then Kissed it. "My family."

I felt a tear escape my eye. This was perfect.
