Just a warning, this is a more intense and violent scene, so if you have a weak stomach, or find bloody and vulgar scenes offensive then i don't suggest you to read this chapter, if not then continue on ;). Just being cautious, thanks for all who is reading and voting!

Ps; Sorry for taking awhile, I've been on summer vacation and been working on several chapters so i can be prepared and making sure the story will go where i am planning it to be. Thank you all <3

With shaky hands, I grasp onto the keys that were left onto the car floor under the drivers seat. Silvia probably had left these keys just in case something bad happened. Which it did..

This seems way too easy, but i'm not complaining, I just need to get out of here, i've had enough bad luck for tonight! I fumble with the set of keys and jam the correct car key inside the ignition. I've drove before, but i'm still not used to the traffic, I have no clue where i'm even at!

I start the engine, shifting into reverse and quickly back out.

"Hey!" I hear a burly voice shout, making me realize the windows are rolled down. I look in the side mirrors to see a man running across the parking lot with a gun, I'm just sitting here at the exit! I quickly shift to drive and slam on the gas pedal.

I hope i don't wreck the car.. if silvia was here, she would probably kill me.

I pull onto the road, switching into the lane we came from earlier. I should go back to the costume shop, maybe pop's is in there. That's my only open option.

If I ever find out how to get there..

A loud popping noise causes me to jump. As I slow down to the stop sign, I look behind me to see the man hot on my trail with his gun aimed at the car. What is this guy?! Flash or something? He seems to be catching up at inhumane speeds. There is barely any cars out, it is about five A.M in the morning, so I shouldn't have other cars to worry about for now. I quickly slam onto the gas pedal once more, turning right , hoping the guy will lose track. I turn left , almost running over a stop sign as I realize half the car is on the curb.

I'm going to die.

I quickly park the car as i realize it's not safe, the man will quickly recognize the car and follow me to the shop. I exit it, not bothering to take the keys. I hear some voices behind me, echoing down the streets. With all strength I have left, I push myself to run down the sidewalk.

I feel as if someone is scraping a cheese grate along my side,as I make myself run down the sidewalk. The pain is overbearing, I can feel my pace slowing down.

I reach the end of the sidewalk, staring at am empty crosswalk and intersection. If I continue going that way, they'll eventually catch up to me, especially at the pace I'm going.

Think Roxanne.. Think.

I hear more deep voices and shouting, alarming me that I have little time. My eyes dart to my right, I see another sidewalk along a set of houses. Hopefully they might lose track of me this way.

I immediately choose to go right, hopefully the costume shop isn't too far.. I don't know how much I can take.

I no longer feel as if I'm running, I feel like I am dragging my feet and the other  half of me is missing.
In all reality, I only have a gash in my side, it just feels as if i've been cut into half.

My eyes feel as heavy as my head. Will this be the end of me? Will I collapse right on the sidewalk to be found dead in the morning?

As I continue pushing myself, I spot a figure down the sidewalk, but I can't tell who, the person seems to be wearing a hood. This screams suspicious, I certainly don't want to be near him, but I also don't want to turn back when those  men are hot on my trail. It struck me odd as to why a man in a hood would be wondering the streets this early. Doesn't seem like an early morning jogger.
