Chapter 4: New Life

Jae's POV

=>*Beep! Beep! Beep!*
*Yawn* What is that annoying sound!? It's disturbing my sleep!
*Craaack!!!* Wha-

"Jae! Jae! Help me!" Yoon?

"Where are you? Yoon J-," I froze on my spot after looking at a horrifying scene on my left, the plane cut in half and Yoon hanging with one hand.

"Yoon!" I quickly unbuckle my seatbelt ... but ... it's stuck!

"Y-yoon! H-hang on, ok!?" I shouted with a shaky voice. When I finally unbuckled my seatbelt, I stood up and looked at where Yoon was.

"Y-yoon?" When I looked down I saw nothing but blackness.<=

"Noo-aahh!!" I sat up and shouted looking around, happy that I'm still in a whole plane. Phew, it was just a dream. Wait, let me rephrase that. It was just a NIGHTMARE.

"Good, you're awake. Let's go, we're the only ones left," Yoon smiled and walked out of the plane. I stood up, got my backpack and followed her.

"Finally we've landed safely here, in Korea," Mom said looking around. Yeah safely, not, deadly. That nightmare scared the hell out of me.

"Jae, you know where our apartment is, right?" I nodded at Mom.

"Go, and bring Yoon with you. Your father and I have to sign a contract at Mae's Company," she told me. Mom and Dad went in a black car driven by ... maybe, someone who works for them? I don't know.

"Let's go, Yoon. The faster we get there, the more time we have to explore," I said and hailed a taxi.

"Please take us to ****** Apartment," I told the driver. I sat at the front while Yoon sat at the back, alone.

When we reached the apartment, I thank the driver and paid him. I told Yoon that we're here and got off. She got off and followed me.

I walked to the registration counter and asked the lady behind the counter,"Hello, I'm Mae Young Jae, son of Mae Jae Joon and Mae Yeon Hee. May I have the key to our room?" She smiled and nodded. She turned aeound and searched for the key.

"Here you go! And, Welcome to ****** Apartment!" She exclaimed and gave me the key. I walked back to Yoon.

Yoon's POV

I was waiting for Jae in the lobby, sitting on a sofa. People scurrying everywhere. Out and in the elevator. Up and down the stairs. Walking here and there. Ugh, I'm getting dizzy. Why does Jae take so lo- oh, there he is, smiling while holding a key up.

I stood up and walked to him.

"Hey, w-watch out!" I landed on my butt. A boy, maybe as old as me, bumped into me.

"Yah! How dare you bump into my lil' sis! Where did you put your eyes!? Huh!?" Jae shouted and towered him.

"I-I'm sorry! I w-was in a h-hurry," the guy stuttered looking down. He's embarassed.

"Jae it's not only his fault. I was sleepy and not paying attention to my surroundings," I held Jae's arm to calm him down.

"Everyone else, around the room, please continue your activities." I said eyeing everyone with a smile on my face. Everyone smiled back and continued their activities.

"I'm so sorry for my brother's behaviour," I apologized to the guy.

"O-oh! It's o-ok," he stopped and look at his watch, widening his eyes after. "Oh no! I'm late!" He panicked. He bowed at me and Jae and ran off to ... god knows where.
