An Ode to my Future Lover

Firstly, I am not perfect.

I will break you in every way possible.

I will hate you.

I will love you.

We will make love to the sweetest songs

and argue to the darkest songs.

We will be thunder and lighting

our love loud for everyone to hear.

I will consume you in small touches

and kisses.

Never take these for granted

because when I stop I promise you will miss them.

I want to bring colour to your tattoos

be the light that wakes you up in the morning

the hotness of the sun on your back in cold winter days.

I am everything you adore.

You are everything I adore.

I'll write you letters

make plans to travel 

help you with college papers.

Please never take me for granted.

We'll be bestfriends, our reflections will become brighter with eachother in them.

I will let you in, destroy you, leave
