for teaching me that it doesn't matter about the size of your waste or your breasts

for the 'I love you' s before I sleep

for the 'I'm sorry' s and 'I wish I did it better' s

Thank you for being the sound track to my summer nights

for the albums me and my friends share

for the songs I know every word to

Thank you for the different cultures and tongues

for the revolutionaries and the inventores

for giving young people a voice

for giving old people good times back

Thank you for making my heart beat like I'm running at 50 mph

for giving me butterflies

for inspiring me
