I was checked out of the hospital by noon took a cab home I thought of calling MJ I didn't want to face the fact she was right about Kendrick. I laid on my bed in shorts and a sweat shirt, it's funny how quickly how one moment your life could be perfect and ruined in a flash, a couple of hours ago I had enjoyed the feeling of having Kendrick cheer for me at the race track now I'm lying down overwhelmed with numbness and I starred at the roof listing to the the ticking if the clock, he never bother to be the hospital when I was being checked out but I did ask him never to meet me ever again, I never really thought he'd do it but I was grateful I needed to go back to my life's former routine. I let out a loud groan as I heard someone knock on my door constantly refusing to go away, making me stand up

"what do you want " I said staring at the worried expression on Tanner

"Keisha I need you to listen to me we can't find Kendrick he drank a lot after he left the hospital and ran off we've searched everywhere he stays including his house, I thought I'll find him here with you Andre is at the station filling a missing person report" my heart beat faster and faster with each word and much I should hate Kendrick I couldn't be could be hurt dead for all we know I stood there staring at Tanner in shock unable to say a word

"Keisha I know you hate us right now, I know you hate him, but I know this when I say that dare meant nothing to Kendrick from the few days I spent with you guys at first I thought maybe I was wrong I tried flirting with you to test it and it was you made him feel something, I know for one he's never touched you from the distance he kept around you, you made him happy and after what happened yesterday I was the pain the was in the way he drank he was truly hurting, please Keisha I'm truly sorry for what we did to you but if you felt anything for Kendrick during those few days please help us find him" I stared at Tanner he was right his expression showed honestly

"I think I have an idea can I take your car" I said getting my shoes rushing out of the house

"he ran away with my car I drove his motorcycle" he was driving drunk my anxiety level increased massively at the thought

"I'll ride you" I heard Tanner say snapping me back to reality

"no I gotta go alone" I said feeling glad Tanner didn't argue with me rather he let me handing me the keys

"call if you need any help " I heard him shout at I rode off

The was only one place I knew I'll find him, I parked the motorcycle and began running up the hill my heart beating and aderline in coursing through my veins with every step, I got to the waterfall location Kendrick had brought when I accused him of lying to me I guess I got my answer eventually, I saw him sited by the edge of the pond with his head in between his knees he was soaked as the tides splashed against him

"Kendrick" I said kneeling down beside him making raise his head his he was crying his facial expressions broke me he was crying for me

"Saint Your here"

"yeah it's okay it's okay" I said as I took him into a hug before dragging him away from where he was sited

"I thought you left me" he did all this cause he thought I left at that point every hate I had for him had left

"I promised not to leave didn't I" I said forcing a smile on my face as tears rolled down my eyes

"No saint please don't cry I'm sorry" he says wiping the nears from my face

"no their happy tears your okay, and you do care" I said hugging him, he was afraid he lost me he did care

"off course I do I'm sorry about the dare" I raised my finger to stop him but he held my hand

"no Saint you have to here this I made that bet the first day I met you I didn't know who you were and James warned me I still didn't care but as I got to know I lost interest right from when I saw your eyes light up once you saw the cars, the way your eyes lit up, you warned me from smoking the way you cared even when you rarely knew me I never smoked since then, your obsession with video games, I fell in love with your hair your eyes they remind me so much of.... And the day I was how scared and terrified you were when you woke up from your dream when I saw you cry I knew I never wanted to see you cry again I had tried to tell you but I was afraid you'll leave" his he said as his hands cupped my cheek wiping away my tears that were caused from hearing his words

"I was afraid to hurt you the way I hurt Amber, see Amber was one of my dare well I and James, I had won I kept her around till one day James and I got really drunk we had raped her she went into chronic pain and depression she was later sent to asylum even after seeing how badly my dare hurt someone I still didn't stop I've slept and used more girls than I can probably remember I'm a monster I knew I wasn't deserving of you but I was too in love with you to let go of you I'm so selfish now I did the last thing I wanted to do to you, I hurt you" he said hiding his head inbetween his knees I was a side of Kendrick I've never seen before his being honest and open

"I'll understand if you decided to leave me Saint" he said with hurt in his voice tearing me apart

"no ones perfect I'm not leaving all I wanted was for you to be honest with me" I said using my hands to raise his head

"Saint" he said as he continued to run his hands through my hair as we laid on the sand

"yeah"

"thank you''he said before pulling me closer into his chest as we laid staring at the stars

"Kendrick"

"yes"

"you said I remind you of someone but you never said who" I know I'm probably ruining a perfectly good moment but I was curious

"you remind me of my mother before she went the asylum" I decided to not to ask any more questions to prevent hurting him anymore

"I'm sorry" I said we laid in silence my head on Kendrick chest listen to his heart beat as he wrapped his arms around my waist as we slept under the stars
