When Namjoon pulled into the lot he turned his head to see Aeryn sleeping soundly, for the first time in days she wasn't shaking or sweating in her sleep. As Namjoon slid his hands under Aeryn's legs he hoisted her up so he was level with his chest, subconsciously Aeryn placed her arms around his neck and hugged into him. After carrying her up the stairs and to the door Namjoon forced his key in to the lock; letting the door swing open lazily. When it knocked lightly on the wall behind, it knocked Aeryn awake with it.

Trying her best to act composed, Aeryn kicked off her shoes once Namjoon had put her down and padded solemnly across the hardwood floor that stretched throughout the apartment. When she reached the doorway to the bathroom she paused and fell to the floor in a pile of inaudible sobs. As soon as Namjoon had registered what had happened, which was fairly quickly, he raced towards her crumpled silhouette. He immediately brought her into him in a strong embrace. The cries Namjoon heard were ones that had been held in for to long. They were strong, heartfelt, crackly in places, full of grief and regret. He also heard she same continuous stream of words spill violently out of her mouth. "Mum, I'm sorry. Forgive me." The poor girl sprawled in Namjoon's hallway sounded as if she was part banshee; this was because the poor girl had lost the thing that had meant the earth, the moon and the stars to her. Her family.

*TIME SKIP*

Hours later, after she had calmed down, Aeryn was still sprawled but this time on something far more comfortable that the dark wooden floor. This time she laying with her head balanced on Namjoon's chest while the boy twirled her hair inbetween his fingers making it look like melted chocolate was smeared across them. As Namjoon breathed Aeryn's head bobbed up and down in a steady rhythm. Rising. Falling. Rising. Falling.

Namjoon -"Aeryn ?"
Aeryn -"Yes ?"
Namjoon -"Did you mean it ?"
Aeryn -"Did I mean what ?"
Namjoon -"What you said to your mum. About me being your boyfriend."
Aeryn -"I-i didn't say that did I ?"
Namjoon -"Yes, you also said that your mum could trust me because I would protect you."
Aeryn -"Yes I meant it."
Namjoon -"Aeryn ?'
Aeryn -"Yes Joonie."
Namjoon -"I love you. Like really love you."
Aeryn -"I love you too, Joonie."

With that Aeryn sat up and turned around. Now facing Namjoon she felt a wave of heat hit her. She looked at Namjoon who was now giggling at her flushed cheeks. He sat up, their faces inches apart. Aeryn's hands worried at the sleeve of the sweater that Namjoon had let her borrow because she hadn't wanted to leave the room to go to her bag and get one. The girls gaze flickered from her hands to Namjoon and back again. When Namjoon reached his hand to cup her face she flinch slightly, but soon she pressed her warm cheek in to his equally warm palm. Namjoon lightly ran his calloused thumb over the cut, which had now began fading, that was plastered along her cheekbone. Aeryn saw the boys eyes glance down to her plump lips and then back up to her eyes. Finally the tension and gotten to much for them to bare and their lips crashed together desperately. At that moment Namjoon decided he would never let this precious girl be hurt by anyone ever again. When they pulled away, Aeryn clasped her tiny hands around the boys shoulders and hugged him tightly. Then Namjoon whispered something in her ear.

"I've loved you from the very beginning."
