Short Shorts and Even Shorter Tempers

After spending over a week roaming around Namjoon's house the pair decided it was probably time to make an appearance at school. Since the funeral Millie, Hannah and Holly had been emailing her school work so she could keep up and not fall behind. How cruel. She missed them, her friends. They had always been good to her, stayed with her when she was in hospital and comforted her when her mum passed. She couldn't ask for anymore.

When Aeryn woke up she felt around the bed blindly, her eyes masked with the residue of sleep. Finding no sign of Namjoon being asleep she got up and went looking for him. Silently she toddled down the hall way; finding Namjoon cooking pancakes and making coffee. The boy turned around startled after hearing a soft giggle echo through the kitchen, coming from the doorway. "Breakfast ?" Aeryn asked quizzically. "I wanted to bring it to you in bed." Namjoon retorted a pout plastered over his plump lips. When Aeryn tried to kiss them he turned away claiming he wasn't going to speak to her cause he ruined her plans; this of course didn't last very long as Namjoon cannot resist Aeryn puppy eyes. After her breakfast and a light shower, Aeryn went to get changed. For her first day back she picked out one of Namjoon's favourite outfits, not that he knew that she owned it yet. Carefully she layed the outfit in the bed; a plain white t-shirt, a pair of light blue denim shorts with distressed hems, a pair of knee high white socks, a pair of high top red converse and a plain black bomber jacket that Aeryn had stolen from Namjoon's closet.

After locking up Aeryn went to meet Namjoon down by the car, where he was waiting. As she came through the door she saw Namjoon's eyes scan her outfit and a little smirk wriggle its way across the boys face. "Ready babe ?" Aeryn said trying to his her laughter from him and getting in to the car swiftly after. While making himself comfortable in his chair Namjoon reached his hand over to Aeryn and placed it precariously on her bare thigh and looked over at her with unreadable eyes. "Let's show that little slut Mai who is the Queen and King of this school. Shall we ?" Namjoon said his faced painted with the same smirk as earlier. Aeryn was taken aback by the comment at first, confused at what he might mean but at that moment Namjoon must've sensed her confusion and glided his thumb over the now faded mark. A flood of memories swam through Aeryn's mind. This time she looked back at Namjoon, her face set with determination, and nodded swiftly. "No one except me touches Joonie." After kissing her plump lips Namjoon sped off towards the school.

When the pair pulled into the space, Aeryn noticed all of their friends waiting for them on the front steps that led up to the school. "You sure you're ready for this ?" Namjoon said looking over to Aeryn with worried eyes. "I'm sure." Aeryn replied reaching for the handle of the car door. When she stepped out she saw all of her friends have the same reaction as Namjoon did, not even 15 minutes before. Namjoon walked a few paces ahead of Aeryn, the girl took this as an opportunity to jump on his back and scream at the top of her lungs. "I'm back bitches. Now who is gonna help me put that slut Mai in her place ?" At this point Namjoon looked up fondly at the little spider monkey that now clung to his t-shirt, smiling as he did. When they had gotten closer to their group of friends Aeryn jumped off and ran the rest of the way, colliding with them as she did. To an onlooker this probably would've looked like an over reaction, but to them this was completely normal. Aeryn to feel joy radiating off of her friends. They were all happy to be back together again.

*TIME SKIP*

Finally lunch came and after the corridors had cleared it was just the group of 11 that had reunited this morning. Everyone was happy. Unfortunately that happy aura didn't last for long because soon enough the looking black cloud with the name Mai Sung came striding round the corner, her pose of ditsy girls trailing behind her fearfully. Defensively the girls made a barrier infront of Aeryn; which she quickly shooed away preferring to fight Mai than hide like she normally would. The two group stood parallel to one another, arms folded and faces like thunder. Aeryn saw Mai eye Namjoon with her predatory stare. After a long while Mai spoke. "Namjoon baby why don't you come over this side with someone who actually deserves you ?" Mai sounded like she was trying to spit acid out of her mouth. "Why would I trade a Queen for a whore ?" Namjoon retorted his voice echoing through the corridor. Mai's face coiled up in discgust and her entire body moved, feeling the force of Namjoon's words. A chorus of sharp intakes of breath came from Namjoon's group of friends while a murmur of gasps was expelled from the mouths of the girls that encircled Mai. "You'll pay for that you little slut, even if it was him that said it !" Mai said to Aeryn but gestured to Namjoon at some point on the sentance. "I'm not scared of you anymore Mai. You are pathetic and weak." Aeryn said striding towards the no man's land between the two groups. As Mai began to mirror her movements Namjoon's voice cut through the rigid silence. "Babe, before you put her on her ass." Namjoon said softly cupping the back of Aeryn's neck with one hand and bracing her back with the other. His statement was cut off by their lips colliding causing Mai to become angrier but also making Aeryn's group applaud and cheer. When Aeryn turned back toward Mai she was already swing for her but Aeryn bent backwards and dodged it by doing a reverse kick over. Mai was astounded no one ever dared dodge her punches. Aeryn to the advantage of Mai being a bit dazed to cartwheel and side flip forwards, sliding her legs so it gracefully hit the back of her ankles resulting in the other girl falling to the floor and landing on her back. Aeryn pressed the toe of her shoe up against Mai's chin the rest placed inbetween her collar bones. Mai spluttered trying to catch her breath. "You still gonna make me pay ? Don't ever go near him again because trust me hunny I will find out. On way or another." Aeryn claimed triumphantly strutting back towards her group as they disappeared around the corner.
