Chapter 34

JUSTIN'S POV

Everyone in the house (Me, Chaz, Ryan, (the other guys and her other friends went home), anna, mom, lisa, and David) quietly crept towards a sleeping Kelsey. Her mom was holding a cupcake with a single candle lit on it. I shook her shoulder lightly, and her eyes fluttered open.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear kelsey, happy birthday to you!" We sang. Lisa set the cupcake in her lap, and Kelsey closed her eyes, making a wish, then blowing out the candle. I pulled a square box out of my pocket, and sat down beside her on her bed. Everyone left the room as she rubbed her eyes and sat up more. I sat cross legged and looked at her.

"Happy birthday babe." I said leaning over and kissing her cheek. She looked down at the small box and scrunched her eyebrows, like she does when she's confused.

"What's that?" She asked.

"It's a ring." I said and her eyes went wide. I chuckled, "Not that kind if ring. It's a promise ring." I told her, opening the box. The ring was a silver band, with diamonds lining an infinity sign. "It symbolizes my infinite love for you. And my promise to never leave you, no matter what. I promise to stay by you, through whatever." I told her slipping the ring on her right hand. A tear slid down her cheek, and I swiped it away with my thumb. She wiped her eyes, then climbed into my lap. I wrapped my arms around her, and she layed on my chest.

"Thanks so much babe. It's beautiful!" She said looking at her hand.

"I need food." She said quietly. I laughed loudly then stood up.

"Let's go get something. McDonalds?" I said. She smiled and nodded. I grabbed a shirt from my suitcase and slipped it on. She stole my sweatshirt from beside my suitcase and put it on, slipping on flip flops. I put on a SnapBack and we walked downstairs.

"Going to get food, text me your orders." Kelsey said to everyone as we walked outside, to my car. I got in the driver seat, then we buckled up.

KELSEY'S POV

I turned on the radio, and 'Midnight Memories' by one direction was playing. I tapped my fingers on my knees, to the beat.

"I wanna meet them one day." I told justin as we pulled into the drive thru. He unlocked his phone, then handed it to me.

"You can text them if you want." He said glancing at me. I handed him my phone which had all the orders people texted me. I searched through his messages until I found a group chat between him and the 1D guys.

'Heyo mayo it's Kelsey, justin's girlfriend' I typed, then pressed send.

Justin set the bag of food in my lap, and put the drinks in the cup holders. I guess he ordered without me even noticing! I felt his phone buzz in my hand. I looked at the screen, and it was a text from Niall.

'Hi! We've heard lots about you!'

'I really like y'all's music.' I said back.

'Why thank you! I heard it's your birthday btw.. Haaaaaaaaaappy birthday!' He replied.

'I want a video if y'all singing happy birthday to me. No lie'

He replied a few minutes later with a video of the five guys singing to me. We pulled into the driveway as the video ended.

"Oh my god that was perfect." I said to justin. I forwarded the video to me, noticing my contact wasn't just "kelsey". It was a simple '❤️'. I smiled and got out of the car, holding the food. Justin and me exchanged phones back, and I saw that my background was now a selfie justin took. It was of him sticking his tongue out. I chuckled and put my phone in my pocket. We walked inside and distributed everyone's food. I ate my biscuit and downed my sweet tea, then walked upstairs to get ready. I brushed my teeth, then put on a pair of short leggings and Justin's sweatshirt (that was oversized on me). I then put on mascara and blush, and tennis shoes. I wanted to be comfy today!
