Chapter 16

JUSTIN'S POV:

By now, I was pacing back and forth in the waiting room of the hospital with Anna. I heard a door open and my head jerked up. I saw a doctor walk out of Kelsey's room. I rushed over to him.

"Is she ok?" I asked with a tear rolling down my cheek.

"She's perfectly fine. She just has a mild concussion. I'm gonna send her home today but she needs to rest for two more days. But I need to give you this subscription for some meds. But you can go see her." He said referring towards the door, and giving me the paper. I nodded and walked in. I saw my girl laying there asleep. I tiptoed over to the bedside with Anna close behind. We stood on either side of the bed and each took a hand. I softy rubbed my thumb against her hand like we do when we hold hands. Her eyes fluttered opened.

"Hey babe." I said sniffling.

"Who are you?" She asked. No. NO!!! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!! I looked at her with worried eyes. "Kidding." She said with a smirk. I looked at her in dis-belief.

"I'm sorry I just-" I said stuttering and walking out. I sat down on a bench in the waiting room. I can't believe she would even kid about that. I took a moment to get myself together and went back in the room. She looked at me. I noticed she had been crying. I quickly rushed over and took her hand.

"What's the matter babe?" I asked.

"I thought you didn't love me anymore." She mumbled sniffling. My face fell. I got down on my knees so I was in front of her eyes.

"Look at me." I said softly. I gently grabbed her chin and turned her head towards me and put our foreheads together. "I will never stop loving you." I whispered, kissing her softly on the lips. She quickly kissed back and we pulled away. "I love you."

KELSEY'S POV:

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too babe." I said. I really am the luckiest person in the world.

"Me too." He said smiling. I didn't realize I said that out loud... Oh well!

"When can I get out of this place?" I asked annoyed.

"The doc said today. He'll get a nurse to come unhook your IV." He said standing up.

"Can you hand me that water?" I asked pointing to the plastic cup on the nightstand. Anna picked it up and handed it to me.

"Thanks baby sis." I said smiling and sipping from the cup.

"No prob big sis." She said smirking. I handed her the cup and she put it back. I turned my head and saw Justin texting somebody.

"Not trying to be nosy... But who are you talking to?" I asked him.

"Your mom. She said she's really sorry she couldn't be here. She got caught up in a super important meeting. Same as your dad." He replied. I shook my head.

"Can you go ask the doctor to come get these wires out of me?" I said annoyed. He chuckled.

"Of course baby." He said kissing me.

"MY EYES!!!" I heard Anna scream. I smirked into the kiss. I wanted to freak her out even more and Justin knew it. He climbed on the bed beside me, not breaking the kiss. Anna ran out of the room. We pulled away and started laughing. Hard. Justin almost fell off the bed which made me laugh even more.

"Go get the doctor and make sure Anna is still alive." I said chuckling. He walked out and I grabbed the remote and turned on the news. What I saw shocked me.
