My alarm made a really loud and annoying sound which got me up. I looked at the clock knowing it was 1:30 pm already. Why did I set the alarm anyway? Then suddenly, THUMP!
Next thing I realize is, that I was on the floor. Good thing I didn't fall face first or I could've lost a tooth or two. I squinted my eyes a bit and I reached for the lamp switch at my bed side table. I felt my hand touch something and it wasn't the switch. I opened my eyes and looked at the table. It was a mask. I lifted the mask and examined it. There was a note under the mask before I took the mask. I placed the mask on the table and took the paper.
It read;
(Y/N) since you forgot to buy a mask. I made one for you to wear at the masquerade party. Also, I will be picking up you when its time to go home later this night. So, laters (Y/N)! Enjoy!~

I looked at the mask. I was a black mask with beautifully drawn violet, green, blue and white designs and a small red flower on the corner. Wow! This is really nice except the part that I forgotten it. And also I never knew Natalie could be this creative. I got off the floor and stood up. I walked to Natalie's room to see her asleep. I left her room, not wanting her to wake her up. I went to the kitchen to take an another snack and get ready for the party.

Aiden's pov
I arrived at the school with different clothes, just a plain black tuxedo instead of my usual green buttoned shirt, my ocelot shirt and pants. Of course Aiden! Do you expect yourself to go there in a plain shirt and pants?, I thought to myself. I entered the door and saw tons of people. Mostly students. I walked around wanting to see my friends. As I was walking around the big room, I saw a familiar blonde leaning on the wall. And who do me expect it to be? Well since there's few students with blonde hair I expect that to be Lukas.
"Hey Lukas!" I said, waving at him.
"Sorry but. . . who are you?" He said uneasily, acting like he does not know me.
"Dude?" I questioned him.
"Aiden?" His attention quickly turned to me. "Oh! Aiden. I didn't recognize you there. I didn't even thought you'd come anyway?"
"There's a reason I came, you know?" I said, giving him a serious look. "And I'm not saying it to anyone."
He chuckled lightly and said; "Let me guess its because of someone isn't it?" He elbowed me.
I just stood there embarrassed, not knowing what to say for come back.
"Hey Lukas!" Maya and Gill said in time to break this awkward silence.
"Hey Maya! Gill!" Lukas greeted.
"Who's your little friend here?" She asked pointing to me, strangely.
"Uhm. . . Excuse me?" I said kind of annoyed.
Gill and Maya was just staring at me with confusion and she snapped.
"Wait?!" She said, examining me. "Aiden?"
"I didn't know it was you?" She continued, chuckling. "I didn't recognize you in that clothes. You look good. That will turn (Y/N)'s attention on you." She ended her sentence with her timid laughter.
"Not funny (Y/N)!" I reassured.
"Did you just call her. . . (Y/N)?" Lukas asked.
"My mistake." I said, embarrassed.
