One last gentle stroke of the old paint brush and Bonnie Greenwood was done with another piece. Gently she got up and turned her music off looking back to admire her work. She considered herself an artist but her dad just called it a waste of time. The girl always loved painting and drawing, and when she discovered her love and absolute need for music, she combined the two to create a wonder filled abstract piece of art.

How Bonnie began her work was one average day after school in the art room, life at home wasn't as inviting so the girl spent the afternoon indulging herself in the hard sounds of Pierce the Veil and painting. She used the music to create her work, the sounds and tones moving the brush for her, the lyrics choosing her colours. A quick post to Instagram and a hundred likes later Bonnie had formed a lengthy list of requests by fans of bands who wanted a special piece done by Bonnie inspired by their favourite songs.

Paintings on canvas soon turned into edgy shirts and jackets and Bonnie was on her way to live out her artist dream in a small apartment in downtown LA.

Bonnie admired the pink tones and geometric designs she had painted on the back of a white denim jacket. This piece was one of her favourites, but she says that about all her work. Quickly she snapped a picture of it and posted it to Instagram.
